You better book directly with any airline.
It鈥檚 extremely difficult to reach them out , the connection is too bad and there are always interruptions and you end up calling again and waiting long hours.
Their website is too poor l!
Never again !

An utterly criminal company that ghosts legitimate support requests, demands unreasonable fees, ignores calls and overall attempts to scam clients. They need to be brought to justice.

Purchased a return flight Z眉rich-M眉nchen on 23 Feb 2020. Both flights have been cancelled by SWISS, who (correctly) say the refund has to be provided by the travel agent. Opened a case with gotogate on 11 Mar 2020 (eTrackNr:42543692). I have NEVER heard a SINGLE WORD from them in almost two weeks. Tomorrow this will go to my legal advisor for forced recovery of the cost of the booking (CHF 361.59). It goes without saying that such a poor company is cancelled forever from my portfolio of travel agents (if one could call them such) FOREVER.

It was horrible service. They just want money. When you pay, no way to change. Though you paid extra for flexible ticket.

They may change the price of the flights just before you're about to pay.

Very bad service and support quality.
Do not recommend using this provider.

Is this possible? Again GoToGate answers with their standard template… Are they using internet bots? Or people that cannot read English, or … as said they have zero respect for their clients? What is their business model? Take the money and run away? We'll see – a case for criminal prosecution?

***PLEASE*** do not use your standard answer "Thank you for your feedback and apologies for the delayed response. etc…" – this is not helpful at all and shows your deep lack of respect for your clients.

I did contact the GoToGate customer service via email and shared my booking reference number and the concern. Actually there is no concern, I merely want to have my money back since the flight has been cancelled by the airlines and you, as a travel agency, just need(ed) to process the refund – you simply do not answer at all since more than 2 weeks and keep MY money blocked.

Could you please see that case no. eTrackNr:39690116 is finally processed? Thanks in advance.

I bought the fly on 6.7. at 00.42 than as soon I checked not possible to phone the service
recognised I made a mistake so I wanted to cancel my fly ….
It that I wrote a mail through the contact service .
Because it was weekend , no service call !
I called Mon. Morning that they don鈥檛 allow the cancellation ??? I am very disappointed with your service !

I used Gotogate many times and I am happy with the service, it is easy and clear.

I tried three times to book a flight with a certain price and at the moment of the payment it wasn't available anymore. Then of course when I tried to book the same flight 30min later for a much higher price apparently it worked…let's see

Easy to use website. Tickets cheaper than booking direct with the airline.

I have been traveling by using really many different portals and agencies, but honestly have never seen anything this bad as gotogate.

It is that bad that I even stopped trying to reach them per phone or Mail.

I booked a trip with a wrong date and asked for cancellation or reshedule.
Lady on the phone was not even able to explain in german what the problem is, but constatly repeted that she can鈥檛 help me.
After 20 times calling Austrian Airlines, I got an explanation that this is a common praxis with this portal and that I should not expect anything from it – there will be no cancellation or anything similar.

Writting mails and asking for help did not help.
200鈧?on which I can simply forget, without any chance to get a decent explanation or feedback.

Never book with the agancy, my honest advice.

This place offered the amazingly low price compare to other places and even lover than what the airline offered. I mean MUCH lower.

Misleading prices in the comparaison portans! Why the *** add EUR 36 for the credit card payment at the last minute?

I payed for checkin and I didn鈥檛 receive the tickets 3 hours before the flight as y informed me

Very unfrendly personal on the hotline. Zero competence! No Clou what they are doing. Waiting 30min on the hotline and another 15min with a unfrendly person that don鈥檛 let you finish a sentence, even if you ask them calm and they can鈥榯 answer mails. Was the last time I booked over Gotogate.
They do not answer mails and they do not send mails with the details of the conversation.

one small error, called right away, but the costs for the correction are enormous, unacceptable! never again!

It was write 21.30 hours of flight and on the end i recived an e-mail where i saw that on real the trip is 46 hours. Totally illegal way to sell flight tickets!

Simple process. Just one has to click roughly 20 times "No" or "Yes" to avoid any extra charges and get the originally quoted price. Please include a one Click super disclaimer saying " The passenger is fully aware that he/she can never change this ticket and will not get any service …"
