I recently ordered the Hero 9, I received the handle bars without the camera via UPS. Since then I have constantly contacted customer service since 12/23 regarding the missing camera. I received the handlebars but no camera. I have been disregarded, shuffled and ignored. I am extremely frustrated/angry that I have paid my money and did not receive the camera. I have an open claim and have submitted all supporting information regarding the missing camera. Customer service has done nothing but give me the run around and unkept promises. I am out of $400 dollars.

So I managed to get hold of GoPro this morning.

I spoke with a lady called Maricar who couldn鈥檛 do enough to help me out. Problems resolved and I鈥檓 over the moon.

I had subscription issues, and didn鈥檛 receive the discounts on an accessories order I made, and once I鈥檇 read the reviews I was certain that this would not turn out the way I鈥檇 hoped.

Anyway the subscription issue is now resolved and I have the outcome I had hoped, as I said I spoke with a lady and she was absolutely brilliant.
I would recommend that if you do have a problem, try to contact them through the support page the very minute they open, this worked for me and I got a call back straight away.

The worst experience I have had so far!

My trip was start on 27 November. I was place an order on GoPro website. My money was gone in that day. I was expecting my order in 2-3 days (as it say everywhere, on invoice, on website). After few days of "scheduled delivery today" from UPS, I was thinking sometimes is wrong there… and I was call GoPro. They was very kind telling me to wait few more days. After few more days (11 December) I was call again, this time, one guy was trying to fix this issue, with one gift (one accessory from website). Something at 18.99拢. (At least he was try to be nice, not like rest of idi0ts who was comming just with sorry). I was ask why he dont send a new delivery ? Because that one was stolen, of course, everybody know that, but no-one want to confirm hahahah.
Today (14 December) I was call them last time, to ask about my order, guess what ? Still missing hahahah, they are still expecting from UPS to call and say "we found it, it will be delivered today" hahahahah
So I was contact my bank and ask them to help with that. I will contact Police as well, for theft. And I will find a lawyer to get some money from GoPro, because they was keep my money for more than 2 weeks instead of send another order. I don't care about they procedure, it say in invoice 2 to 3 days ? I HAVE TO GET MY ORDER IN 2 TO 3 DAYS. rest is s*it.
I understand delays because of corona, but don't come with s*it like this to me ("Please allow few more days" .. for what ? Do you think that box with my order will stat screaming "I'm here, I'm here" and someone will hear it ? Lol someone will play with my gopro at this moment hahah and how GoPro deal with that? He doesn't care about it. I have to lose few hours, even days, waiting for my order, trying to get in touch with UPS, with GoPro, and at end of day one idiot will tell me 'sorry but this is our procedure in this case' … as I say, I don't care about your procedure GoPro, I was pay for something. If you are not able to give my order, why you still keep my money ? Is not my lose, is yours, you have to fix your problem with UPS, not to keep my money blocked there. In all of this time, nobody call me to ask how I m, if I miss my order, my money, or anything like this, even more, I have to call them, and just one time I found a kind person, rest of them was more arrogant then helpful… I dont reccomend your support. You have to put some specialist there, not all people who was just finish general school)

In the last two months I have spent more than $1000. 00 on GoPro cameras and some third party accessories. I have an issue with a GoPro subscription discount that I did not receive on one purchase. The total amounts to approximately $70.00 US. Not a great sum but it is my money, no GoPro's money. I have done everything in my power to resolve this issue but GoPro quite simply refuses to contact me in spite of my numerous attempts at contacting GoPro. The customer service is virtually nonexistent. Caveat emptor. I have learned a difficult lesson. However, I do have very powerful tool in my toolbox and that is word of mouth. I will relate my GoPro experiences wherever and whenever I can So, take heart disgruntled consumers you are not powerless there are effective measures you can take against GoPro.

Purchased a Hero 7 18months ago. Have since made a warranty claim as camera kept freezing, wouldnt turn off, and became so hot you could not hold it. Received a new gopro and have had the same issue. Have now spent 3 weeks trying to contact gopro but their customer service is the worst I have ever come across. The only method of contact is to request a call back this is totally useless if you work full time. They have lied about sending emails or only send half of the details and you have to re-contact them. I have been waiting 3 weeks for an email with shipping return details. PLEASE do not buy one of their products it is not worth it. I am now in the process of seeking legal advice in the hopes of getting some form of response from GoPro.

I researched to find the best price for the Go-Pro Hero camera. I saw that Go-Pro's on-line site was having a special sale on their cameras if you purchased a subscription for their membership. I followed the links to receive the special pricing, only to realize after the transaction that I did not receive the pricing they had advertised. I immediately clicked on the support link and was told it was too late to cancel the order. I insisted on speaking with a supervisor. The supervisor indicated that he would try to reach the warehouse to call back the order. It has been 6 days–no camera and no credit to my charge card. I have made several attempts to get my money back. I contacted my credit card company to assist me in getting the funds returned. Buyer beware of this scam. Each person that I spoke with was 'overseas'. I cannot believe that companies such as this are allowed to operate by luring consumers with their false advertisements. I am going to register a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This truly is an outrage.

Bought GoPro Hero 9 black on 5th of August, the order has never been delivered, nor I received the missing parcel note. Today is 2nd of November and after endless attempts to contact the customer support each time I'm assured that it will be refunded and STILL no refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Disappointed beyond words…..

I ordered the go pro 8 on the 15th of September 2020 i received a notification on the 18th stating my package was delivered however i did not receive my parcel.. I called up UPS which is the delivery service they use to transport my go pro… Ups told me i will need to contact go pro… So i went to look for a number i could call… There is no way to call go pro 馃槨… I went to see if i could speak to anyone online… There is no way to speak to any one online as when you try to "start a chat" with customer support it opens up an invalid page 馃槨… I went to see if i could send an email.. There is no way to email 馃槨.. However on the go pro website there is an option to fill out a form and recieve a call back so i did this and recieved a call back 2days later 馃槨, after informing go pro as to whats happened they told me they will open up a full investigation with UPS.. So i waited a week then i rang up UPS they told me the investigation was closed on there side and any firther enquiries should be made directly to go pro.. So i filled out the online call back call and again recieved a call back 2 days later, after speaking to the call handler they told me it will take upto 15 working days it is now 14th october and i have still not heard anything back from go pro i will fill out the call back request form again and hopefully get a call back soon. I am absolutely appalled with the service i paid 拢279.99 GBP and one month later I have nothing to show for it!!! Would never use go pro services or products ever again.

seriously regret ordering directly from gopro.com
I figured a company the size of gopro has logistics figured out, and can deliver on a 2 day shipping promise for items their system claims are in stock.

I ordered on a thursday, and go ZERO updates until I contacted them via chat the following sunday.
the claimed my order was being held up due to SD cards out of stock (which their website stated were in stock). I requested they ship my camera ASAP and ship the SD card when it becomes available. they obliged and told me to check my order status today. I checked it today: no updates. So I contacted them again via chat and was told the SD card is now in stock, that they can鈥檛 cancel my order (i requested this), and that they couldn鈥檛 tell me when it will actually ship.

I confirmed with the chat agent that they鈥檙e using outsourced customer service in the philippines, and that they have no communication with gopro usa.

This is completely unacceptable. I was trying to take advantage of their $100 off deal. I seriously regret ordering direct from gopro, as their support and communication is an absolute joke.

Every legitimate business has a system in place to tell you if there鈥檚 a delay or hold up, and offers you options to cancel immediately or ship the items as they become available. gopro apparently just discovered e-commerce and can鈥檛 even keep track of their inventory, let along communicate with the customer.

I still want a refund and order cancellation, but the rep claims it鈥檚 not possible until my order ships.

This is THE WORST customer service i鈥檝e ever experienced and has nothing to do with the pandemic

GoPro 7
I bought my GoPro 7 in Jan 2019 and I live in the UK. I like the camera, it is easy to use and is taking great photos also records good quality videos. I had some heating up issue with the camera last July and I contacted GoPro. It was easy to chat online and they were very helpful. They sent me a replacement even though it was more than a year since I bought the camera. It arrived very quickly. I had the same issue with the replacement and they sent me another one with a new battery. Also arrived very quickly. It was battery problem and all is good now. The battery shouldn't cause any problems but they provided an excellent customer service. I read other reviews about how people are having problems to contact GoPro and I am surprised to be honest. I didn't have any problem when I got in touch with them but that was a few months ago. Something must have been changed during this time. I do not want to mislead anyone so you should consider the newest reviews and do more research before purchase any product from GoPro.

Cant emphasize this enough, do not buy GoPro. They have no option to contact them in UK, so if something goes wrong with your order it cant be sorted out. They have no email or phone number on website and the contact (chat) does not work it just keeps saying nobody available try later, its been like this for days. The so called 50% discount on accessories for subscribers is a con (its upto) and I have not been able to get discount on any accessories.

One of the most iconic action cameras in the world. Build for tough situations for any thing you can use it. In the water, land, and air even in space as the astronauts used before. The quality of resolution, the small minimal design, and the simplicity you can use it, it is made resistible for everyone. No doubt that GoPro is one of the best seller action cameras around the world. I recommended for anyone.

After 4 days of trying to get through to customer service, I have come to think that GoPro customer service is virtually non existent. No replies, no call backs, you can鈥檛 even send an email to support, no reps to chat with, no phone number …..
This is a joke.

Such a large international company has in my opinion invested peanuts towards their customer service division.

Why am I subscribing to your GoPro replacement scheme if you can鈥檛 even reply to customers? Is GoPro really this pathetic?

From the fancy cameras, to the graphically pleasing websites and flashy logos and video advertising, it鈥檚 all there to lure you.
When you need help, assistance or support… good luck. GoPro will leave you stranded. It makes you feel helpless, gutted and disgusted by how such a company that prides itself on innovation and new technology, cannot even get customer support sorted out, which should be the backbone of their company.

Utterly disgusted by such incompetence and neglect for customer care. I could not even experience the customer support and GoPro subscription services because you can鈥檛 even bloody begin the process.

Do not buy direct from GoPro! I like their products, but the customer service system is a chat that seems so disconnected from actual order fulfillment and returns that it's not helpful. I returned a brand new order only to go weeks without a refund. They kept saying it had been elevated to their "Warehouse Team" and I still don't have my money back. Going to need to go the charge-back route with my credit card company unfortunately.

What an awful company to deal with .. I will never ever buy one of there products again regardless of the quality. There blatant disregard for the customer is jaw dropping. We are awaiting a refund for a camera we never got !! It鈥檚 been nearly 8 weeks . So sadly got to take advice /legal recourse to get our money back as they won鈥檛 respond to emails and send the same update about investigating our claim . Need to be taught a massive lesson hope they end up on watchdog !!! DO NOT BUY go to a competition like apeman

I need to trade in my damaged hero7 black for a new one as a GoPro plus subscriber.
They are understaffed, chat in Europe has huge delays and they can not make a phone call in my region because of technical issues.
I give four stars because they were helpful at their forum and because in an earlier case ( three years ago) their support team worked great.
They have great cameras and I hope they will get over it soon.

DO NOT BUY GO PRO ONLINE!!!!

If you need any support, FORGET IT. You will never have.

I have to contact my solicitor to solve this problem in justice!

Very poor customer service experience. Rock bottom client care, I would say (comparing to other vendors). I have never received an email with the order confirmation, despite 4 conversations with Customer Service and my request to forward it to me. Mistakes in documents delayed dispatch from the warehouse by 4 days. Delivery is already late by 5 days, and I just received a call from the courier company regarding mistakes in documentation and duties/customs – unbelievable! Note, that I already covered all customs and fees when I paid GoPro for the purchase.
Customer service chat works only sporadically and disconnects, callbacks are delayed by days, and representatives, however well-intended, are completely ignorant about the matter. So the conversation is always starting from the beginning and goes circular. Promises are made, and not delivered. I demanded te refund of the express delivery charges, as this saga is no way the "express" experience. I will see if the refund arrives, and if it does not, I will dispute the fee through the PayPal dispute center. Do not buy GoPro online, they do not know what they are doing in the online world. Buy comfortably from your local retailer. If you ever need GoPro's customer service – you will be left in the darkness… As I am.

Finally got fed up with my Hero 5 and trashed it!

It randomly crashes/freezes even though I've tried with multiple "recommended" SD cards of different sizes and brands! It's SO frustrating not knowing if the time lapse you've set up is gonna be completed or just a waste of time, and after seeing HOW MANY THOUSANDS have the exact same problems.. I guess we can just conclude that Gopro is a bad brand and a waste of money.

If only there was an option to mark with zero star, I would have. How can a huge company have the worst customer service ever. Their people have no product knowledge, converses in an arrogant, and condescending manner and lies as much as they can in communication. Their online system made an error about our address, the package did not even get delivered to us because it got rerouted back to them (on their own action) and they are not refunding our money. That is so inconvenient and simply unacceptable! What if UPS lost the package??? What are they gonna do? This is a very exhausting and a total nightmarish experience. I am so surprised why your company is still in business. You are paying a lot of people who are not doing their job and unable to perform it properly due to your broken internal processes! Your social media is the same – just awful.

I had a defective GoPro, the customer service line very quickly sorted it out for me and send me the shipping labels to return the product.

After sending the product back they would send me a replacement. The replacement arrived but it ended up just being my old one that was repaired.

This is fine to me as I have a working gopro and can continue to film, however I was told I would receive a new one. The camera edges did also not line up properly and had different shades of black between the panels.

After contacting them again the agent said to me its not possible and they had sent me a brand new one. Then I had to forward the photos of the problems with the replacement so they can see it for themselves that it is not new.

After all that I got a response from them that said: "if the camera works fine does it really matter how it looks?"

I tested the camera in the bath and it seems to be fine, but I wont know until the next time I go out with it.

Over all the experience was good. Just don't think they should promise new replacements when they are not sending them.

I am so upset that I did not read the reviews before I bought the product…

I made an order online last week. The main reason I made it on the website was because it said that the shipping would take 2-3 days and there is absolutely no sign of the gopro being shipped. On another note, when I checked my credit card bill, I noticed that I got charged 10鈧?more than what I was supposed to, of course I thought that was no problem, since this is a big company and I would be able to get in contact with you quick enough….this has been IMPOSSIBLE. There is no way I can get a response of the website chat, no call bak, no replies on instagram…NOTHING. I am so disappointed…
