I am an architect and I have been using this platform for two years, I have participated in numerous contests, with good placements. I find it really fantastic because the contests offered are numerous and interesting, and do not require excessive effort (therefore excellent even if just to keep a little in training). I also really appreciate the possibility to interact with customers to get clarification on the design choices. In addition, the platform works very well, everything is simple and clear and in case of victory, the prize received arrives in a few days. I will certainly continue to use it!

The ease with which you can partecipate in the various contests gives anyone the opportunity to participate, some procedures between participants and clients should be refined but overall excellent initiative good professionalism in management.

This is a great platform for designers and clients as well, and my personal favorite. Quality meets professionalism to provide the clients some of the top solutions for their projects. As a designer, I'm constantly amazed at the high quality of the deliverables for each project I take part on.
Also, from a designer's perspective, I'd have to say I'm really impressed with the whole management of the platform, as well as with how much the admin is involved in the message board.

As a young architect it鈥檚 really tough to survive in this competitive world though GoPillar team has provided us with a lot of opportunities from all corners of the world. It helped me to grow stronger and have faith in my skills and motivated me to make progress to gain more international experiences.
I am also grateful for having the chance to be assessed alongside other talented designers which allowed me to earn greater knowledge of design globally which can鈥檛 be easily done when you鈥檙e working with locals.
Lastly, working with GoPillar team has thought me that we designers as a community are able to experience together, learn together, lose together ( for those contests that can not satisfy the stubborn client鈥檚 irrational wishes.) and eventually be winners together regardless of our placements.
These challenging competition personally made me more resistant and patient and brave to walk through dreams and don鈥檛 be afraid of failure and just think of it as another milestone for reaching my goals.

EXCELLENT PLATFORM

I have been participating as an architect in GoPillar for a couple of years, it worked very well for me. They have a variety of competitions on different scales and different complexities, which allows me as a designer to choose contests that go with my skills and my experience, helping me both to offer quality work and to increase my chances of winning.

I have been working with the GoPillar platform for a year and a half, and as a designer I have always been well here; the guys who run the agency have always been correct and kind, I had timely and comprehensive responses to every problem I had. I know that as architects you earn a little less, but don't be fooled: in "real" architecture firms you often work for months or years, completely free, and often with dishonest treatments (I say this from personal experience). On GoPillar I found honesty, precision and, not least, an effective showcase that allows me to finally return to work and make myself known on the market.

I used Gopillar to renovate my apartment it was a great experience I receive more then 20 interior design projects from great designers. If you need great ideas for your house from real designer Gopillar is a perfect spot for you!

This website is a real scam in its full size!!! There is an agency at the back of it with designers/architects, who try to outsource their actual work to freelancers on the website for very much less money than they would have to pay to an actual architect working in their company. What they get for that is: numerous (20+) amazing developed projects by architects and interior designers from all over the globe for the cost of a penny or entirely free. The agency standing behind the website is the one launching the projects and not the real clients! So the person who eventually evaluates the projects at the end is not the client, whose needs you were supposedly trying to satisfy, but a group of people who might be even among the top 5 winners of the contests for what it's worth. But hey why not getting some free labour nowadays trying to enlarge the portfolio, I guess everything's possible!
Best case when I worked on 2 projects (2 apartments, which were on one and the same floor of a building just opposite sides) and into the resources files of one of them there were the blueprints uploaded by mistake from the other one. As a premium designer (their upgraded paid version to get access to the true location of the project, etc.) I realised that they had written two completely remote locations for either of the projects, so that nobody suspects it's one and the same building. Furthermore, an IT specialist close to me and I decided to check how indeed does this website generate their leads as to how people find them in order to post their renovation contests. Well, yes, you guessed it, there were no key words that were having anything to do with their business activities, which theoretically means that 0 clients upload competitions themselves, because 0 of them can land on that website exactly for its particular purpose. I have to admit, this is a very lucrative well-thought scam, but sadly just for the person running the whole operation!
Bottom line, fellow architects and designers don't fall into this trap of this suspicious platform! Whether you're going to choose to work for yourself or for somebody else make sure it's all trustworthy!
