The google maps is a great idea for local marketing but there is too much favouritism on reviews even if there are obviously lies and trolls.
I know that Google tracks you and why is that they don't make this google map review more fair since one troll just left stupid notes on my review while it was the locked down and i never met him nor accept to provide.. This troll left 3 false review and even pretended that he came to see me after covid which is impossible given i knew he lied on review…YET google maps does not care at all about th truth and the logic and stupidity of this situation with false information. I think it is time to smarten up with review. Many i suppose are even lies but when its ill intentional review and pretending they were your clients when they were not …it is not acceptable.

Honestly saving my life, so far tried out a lot of maps apps on my phone, and this one is so far the best, a real lifesaver, especially while driving

For goodness sake Google Maps spend some of your billions and improve your app. It is getting very noticeably worse and worse! It keeps taking me the long way round despite there being absolutely no traffic problems on the quickest route!
The other day it took me 3 sides of a rectangle to get me to a place that was a mere 300 yards away from where I started. There was a road Google Maps was completely unaware of that had no roadworks or any other reason to not take it and the road has only been there for over 150 years!!
I realise spending money on updating/improving Google Maps won't make them more money but it would be nice if they actually gave a hoot about their users!!
I've downloaded Waze as it's way better.

Every time I use Google maps it takes me miles away from intended destination.

It's danged annoying

The features are great; timeline, fav places, suggestions, etc.
Directions are normally easy to follow but lately these have been shocking..

Sent me the wrong way whilst driving which added an hour to my trip and arriving to an appointment very late
Slow on some turnings, no good telling me to turn right as im passing the turning
Traffic info has been terrible lately, last Friday my journey kept changing between 2 & 4 hours
Most annoying and potentially dangerous situation was last Thursday, it sent me walking in the wrong direction for 30mins, would've been more if I didn't ask a local for directions. This was in a village on the other side of the country so I was relying on Google in an arrear I'd never been to. Could've turned into a nasty situation for a young lady on her own.
It resulted in me having to spend another night away as driving in the dark is too dangerous now there's no street lighting and headlights are brighter than people driving.

So sort it out before I uninstall ya butttt

It told me to go on the opposite direction 20 times over 10 km. I would trust a blind person for directions at places he/she never been over Google maps. It's actually worse than apples maps 10 years ago.

Googlemaps is manipulating the maps and not showing the accurate information. Mount Everest is in Nepal but at the moment it鈥檚 completely outside Nepal. Are they being manipulated by powerful country???
Correct your mistake googlemaps.

Pretty average map app. Directions were pretty much clear, none of the directions was off. Since I took this router many times before. It clearly showed the traffic and roadwork. The voice commander was also pretty good. Spoke clearly, and I could understand what they were saying.

it's useful for me so far, at least I didnt lose in other countries, but I can't check some details of routes, it got me wasted so much time

Google maps where you can se your friends (l dont know what it called in english)dont update proberli. I se friends where they were hours ago. Today I can se were my wife were 21 hours ago, 30 km away, but I just left her 10 min ago.

Your service is good, I can find basically everything in the world, except for North Korea and my potential.

It is the best app I have across my life. A real life problem well solved. Works with most of the places up to 100% accuracy. Some remote places shows some error though. But its alright.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Was a massive help to me when I needed to get to two hospitals in a hurry outside of my local area. Was easy to use and totally reliable. Thank you Google Maps you were a godsend. x

Our business does not do too badly in google maps (apart from 4/26 fake/troll reviews reported elsewhere) and we are usually listed correctly. Historically, our location was repeatedly misreported (eg middle of the harbour) for 2 years, address wrong, postcode wrong, main town street renamed affecting 100+ businesses, business "home" image swapped to a vacant lot, forced change of business name, etc – but seems to be settled now, after 5 years of battling. So, a reasonable average score but it should never have taken 5 years of stress and angst to get there.

Better than many navigation systems but still no good. Navigation stops 100-200 meters from endpoint. Not user friendly. Unbelievable that google with billions of dollars is not capable of making a decent navigation system. The Russian Yandex Navigation is a great one.

google Maps : great platform for abuse of small business. As a business owner any comment or response you make can be immediately deleted by the person who decided to post whatever psycho ranting about the level of service they felt entitled to . Google has made it impossible to respond or react. Online Fascism

I planned a journey through London and clicked on '' avoiding toll roads '' and I was guided through the congestion zone. Now I have the congestion charge people sending me fines through the post.

I know that people don't like google maps because occasionally it is buggy and what not but I have actually been very pleased with what it does. Not only does it help you find where you need to go but it also has a record of all of the trips you have taken and will ask you questions that may help other people. I just love the idea of a community coming together to help each other out with common topics about certain local places. Well done google, you really made this one right!

Terrible service from google maps… by allowing commercial advertising to cover the screen on the navigation!!!!!such as uber and careem.. shame on you . You two as well,,so preventing you from using the navigation and forcing you sometimes to order a taxi from Uber..
Disgusting technique and will have a reverse affect on those companies
