google.no is an official domain owned by Google. Of course, they're the best out there. Safe site and trusted sources for me. Be aware of the ad results. I wish there were better ways to contact the customer support/help/feedback team.

Google is exactly what you think it is, and it is exactly as "safe" as the people working there are, remember nothing is really actually totally "safe" online anymore…never was to begin with. This is as good as it will ever get, it goes downhill from here, the world turned internet into big brother, free porn and violence for every child alive…the world meaning the powers that be. Enjoy 🙂

Great search engine. However, it takes what you search for and makes targeted advertising out of it. It can be opted out of, but by default it's turned on.
