When I click "renew" I get a message that says:
Uh oh, something went wrong
The country associated with your Google Payments account is not supported for making this purchase (to renew my domain). 聽Please go to your Payment Settings to update this.
100% of my information is correct, and all accounts are based 100% in the USA, so the fact that my "country is not supported" is a massive error on the part of Google… one of the most profitable yet least competent companies in the world.
I have been trying to get this problem fixed now for over a year. When every single domain comes up for renewal, I have to contact them directly and wait for them to respond. They have zero customer service (too busy riding bikes around their campus?) and operate like a business that only cares about revenue, not about customers or users.
Scary when you think of how much power a company with this mindset has. Supposedly their motto is "Don't be evil". Yeah right.
At least aim for "Don't be embarrassingly incompetent".

Clear, clean interface makes it simple and straightforward to arrange transfers in, redirections, mail forwarding, renewals etc, and their online help has answered any queries that I've had. Integrates seamlessly with Squarespace.
Google's selection of domain suffixes isn't as broad as it might be (e.g. no "uk" suffix), but I've been far happier with Google Domains than I have with any other domain provider to date.

I deal with customer service and it's a whole ordeal and of a magical other team needs to do this or that… then they want to sell you on a third party review.
Well 1 year later instead of canceling her domains they renew them. For $24 and she's still locked out, so we can't transfer the domains, cancel renewal for next year, or even use the domains.
Go with Godaddy instead. I wish I had.
