A senior Citizen that I know has made quite a few purchases from this store over the last few months only to be ripped off with his last purchase
To get the Deal the salesperson quoted him $149 + $1 delivery which would amount to $150,Simple
When he got invoice it was for $160 After contacting Store nobody there knows ( Convenient ) and has been told that he has to pay the extra $10 to receive his products.
$10 is not a lot to many but to a pensioner it is a lot.
Just be careful if you purchase off these Guys that you get the Name of Salesperson, the date & the time and do not pay for anything until you have received the invoice to verify everything otherwise there is the chance now that something will be added on before you realise

Was promised a $60 store credit with a purchase but all they do is later send out an email with a credit which has a short expiry date, by the time I found the email the credit had already expired, in the shop they were no help at all and didn't reply to an online enquiry about this. Very disappointing.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Bought a faulty television at kawana store, sunshine coast. Was told by Good guys to take it up with manufacturer (TCL). Manufacturer wouldn't help so returned tv to store. I felt bullied and insulted by store manager Shane in front of staff and patrons. He was not interested in communicating with me but preferred to yell and intimidate me. It was surreal and disgusting. Apparently my television is now going for repair for an unspecified time frame. The whole ordeal ha6d been time consuming, frustrating and now abusive.

Purchased item online. It wasn鈥檛 in stock. I was advised it should be delivered the end of the next month. Still nothing. No response to messages. No update. Had to escalate to PayPal dispute to get a response. Now waiting on a refund. I will NEVER deal with this company again. Worst customer service ever!!!!

Waited 8 days for a fridge only to find they didn't have any. Now waiting 5 days for the refund so I can find a supplier that does have stuff to sell.
The absolute zenith of incompetence. I wouldn't buy water from these guys if I was dying of thirst.

Very poor service from your Alexandria store!! I ordered a steam mop online, which said it was in stock only to be called the same day with a story about it not being in stock and I could pick it up from Moore Park. I told them that was not an option as I lived close to the Alexandria store … then weeks later when I called about it was told another story, Moore Park didn鈥檛 have it and they would get it from the Manufacturer… more lies!! Then I told them I had been told they where getting it from Moore Park, she checked and they had one and THEN I was told they didn鈥檛 do store to store deliveries …. Very disappointing… requested a refund and will no longer purchase anything from Good Guys again!!!

Very upset with these "good guys". (osborne park perth store)
Got the gold concierge extras package with my coffee machine with extended warranty ect.
Returned it when the pressure gauge went faulty, not a mark on the machine or box as i stored the box in a spare guest bedroom and looked after the machine very well.
When i received the machine back after ~20days it had scratches on it. The power plug inserts were bent and the cable had a wearing mark on it that was never there before.
You would think that returning the machine for a repair it should come back in the same condition if not better. Nope..not with these guys. I could no longer sell the item if i wanted to (one day) as it looks like i have not looked after the machine at all, and the box is highly scratched and damaged.

Ordered inline. 2.5 weeks later and the item has not arrived. I have attempted to contact them 6 times to get an ETA but they do not reply. I have had to escalate this to the Department of Fair Trading. They are extremely dishonest and shady. I would never order online from them again.

I ordered a toaster oven, and specified the store as Nunawading. The website indicated stock availability. 4 days later I called up the store to enquire as to when the order will ship. I was told that there is no stock in Australia. This is the very definition of deceptive drop-shipping. Take your money, place order, assume X% of people will request refund and 100 – X% will ask for a refund. Advantage for the retailer is they don't need to hold stock. Deceptive and should be illegal. I complained and asked for a refund. I was rudely hung up on as they couldn't resolve the situation today, so simplest response is to just no talk to the customer. Clearly the Good Guys do not care about repeat customers. They seemingly are happy to keep my money as I could not reach a resolution and I was unable to resolve the situation. Avoid The Good Guys, avoid Nunawading store, they don't care about their customers.

I had to ring the good guys store in prospect Sydney regarding a product I already paid for, while waiting for my delivery I spoke to Bethany, she was soo rude and didn't want to listen to me. She was so harsh and insisted me to listen to her; at one point she yelled "YOU LISTEN TO ME FIRST " I said I want to talk to the store manager and she made me hold for a long time, I had to disconnect the call and ring back again, this is such poor customer service from The good guys, and it is these people who give a bad reputation to the store, and this makes customers choose other competitors.

I鈥檓 a costumer for good guys long years. On the 9/9/20. I went to the store and fortunately don鈥檛 found what I looking for. . Before I went to the store I looked my car. But when I went back to my car I found my car door was open. I went to ask one of the good guys worker who was already standing there before I enter in the store before. He was on he鈥檚 phone. I ask him politely if he see someone who open my car door. I鈥檓 not even finish half of my sentence he鈥檚 said very ruthlessly he鈥檚 on the phone and on lunch break and he鈥檚 answering if my question work related. Tel me how he know what my questions was when I hardly start my question. He was so ignorant he should not working in costumer care a tall. He was a long bearded man, he should grow more brain then beard it鈥檚 more useful.

Was looking at buying a microwave at an online sale price. Nil stock at any of the stores throughout the region and no ability to pay for and secure sale price and collect from store once in stock. The only option was to pay a $35 delivery charge and have item delivered. The item was on sale for $189 + delivery $35 = $224. The normal price of this microwave is $219 so the 鈥渟ale鈥?is all smoke and mirrors. If you are going to have a sale guys make sure it鈥檚 a genuine sale. COVID has put everyone under financial stress and the last thing the public needs is a company who is going to take advantage of this difficult time and their customers.
Luckily for me I didn鈥檛 order the item as I refused to have my hand forced to pay delivery charges. Going by all the negative reviews my gut instinct paid off. Good guys you have dropped the ball on your customer service. You must me making money hand over fist to afford such underhanded practices resulting in lost future business as outlined in many reviews.

Ordered a new monitor on 12.08.2020, didn't hear anything back about it after 2 weeks I decided to email customer service who told me to call the store.
The store stated it wasn't in stock and they hadn't even ordered it in (TWO WEEKS AFTER I MADE THE ORDER). I decided to wait a couple of days longer but there was no further contact from the "Good Guys" so I decided to cancel. The Lady at the Castle Hill store stated she had cancelled, however, when I called two days later nothing had been done.
Order was then actually cancelled. I don't know of any other retailer that has a turnaround time that is this slow but I will definitely not order through them again.

The Good Guys had stock and the pricing was competitive.
Placed order, paid, order confirmed, delivery 2 days.
Organised installer, allowed 2 extra days just in case.
45 minutes later, I get a call from the Narre Warren store stating there is no stock.
Lady said they have ordered one but will take 4 weeks.
She didn鈥檛 really care in the slightest.
I said you are showing stock on hand, told that鈥檚 not right.
Asked if another store has one, she said no.
Tried to complain via their online website, it states reply in 2 business days.
9 days later, nothing.

I paid for a Concierge membership at the bankstown store and then found it wasnt registered. So I called the store and the call centre, got sent around in circles and not one person would lift a finger to help me. The problem remains unsolved. ZERO service

I ordered and paid for my laptop online on 7th August, cairns store informed me that it was ready to pickup, one's reserved for me. I rang Cairns store 9am on Friday morning 14th, to update pickup person info, (which i was updating along the week, store knows my order), 9.30am, my friend turned up to pickup, Cairns store can't find my laptop! no one knows what happened! A rude man said to my friend, he doesn't know, can't do anything, my friend said 'go then', then they tried to upsell. Then I called Cairns shop was put on hold and transfer back and forth, waiting and repeating myself to different people, only 2 staff were nice. a helpful staff (rare ones) said he'll get one from Townsville and deliver to me or do an upgrade for me, but non available. Then I rang back later, was told yet to confirm with Townsville, will get back to me, I've heard from no one. I turned up in store on Sunday 16th, staff checked record, my paid laptop was sold the half hour before pickup, and they can't get one from townsville, as townsville store would like to sell it in their store. It's unbelievable!
Before my order and payment, Sxxxy in Cairns Store was very rude to speakto, as i rang their 1300 number to ask about payment link not working, that phone line went to carins store, she said 'i don't know, can't help, you need to call online store for payment', i said that's the online number i called, why sometime goes to you, she said don't know, can't help, repeatedly. if a staff doesn't know how good guys phone system works, can't tell a customer, how can customer know? i said i can keep dialing 1300, may come to you again, which i really don't wish as she's terrible to speak to, she said don't know, can't do payment…. she's the god, i had to work around her, not helpful or pleasant.

I am appalled that the GoodGuys will take money for goods then not deliver in a timely manner. COVID is not an excuse as I have received 5 other deliveries from large companies in the last few weeks with only a few days delay. I believe they knowingly didn't have the goods in stock when I paid for the goods as the website stated it was in stock. I think this is dishonest and tricky.

Have shopped at Good Guys many times over the years. They used to be reliable but past couple of transactions over past year have been not good. Several occasions I鈥檝e ordered and paid for appliances and have had to actively chase them up myself to get them delivered on time (appliances for new kitchen install so I had ordered weeks in advance…only to have the store not process my order with their warehouse)…My orders always seem to fall through cracks between the initial ordering/paying and the actual processing of the orders. My latest experience is that a heater I ordered/paid for on 6th August has been sitting reserved for me in Ballarat (I am in Melbourne in Lockdown). But I only found this out as I rang them 10 days later not having heard anything. Ive already paid for delivery. Girl on phone helpful but I am sick of ordering then having to chase and explain to get my products.

Dropped off a Microwave that died still in warranty, few weeks later check status via online portal and i get. "Case Status: In store awaiting dispatch to repairer".
The even worse thing is that the repairer is next door.
Called up, get someone so incompetent they put me on hold then same person 5 minutes later answers as if a new customer must have thought or hoped someone else grabbed my issue, so he transfers me again then i get a female who when i explain my situation wants to transfer me to someone else.

I bought a Samsung TV on a Sunday and the sales guys told me that he gave me the best deal. That Night they dropped the price by $200 and when I called the next day they said bad luck you can not return it. Worst customer service and will never spend $1 ever in in there stores and they can thank Nunawading Store manager.

My elderly Mum ordered a clothes dryer she waited for it for around three weeks and heard nothing so I called them up they told me oh sorry we don鈥檛 have them in stock u will have to wait till August which was around a month and a half away I said well u could have let us know and he just said well u can cancel so I said ok I will he said the refund will be sent to her account but a month later it never came so I called them up again and they said they had sent it on the first of July but we still have not received it

Purchase a lg microwave from them last year but it wasn鈥檛 working properly, took it back in under warranty. We were told it would need to be sent out for repair and should be back within two weeks. Two weeks passed, no news, three weeks I called to find out what was happening, they still didn鈥檛 know. After a few follow up calls from me finally told it couldn鈥檛 be repaired and they鈥檇 replace it but currently did not have stock in. Weeks went by, many calls from our side to follow up and were eventually told we could get a refund instead and to come in the following day. Got there only to be told the manager who authorises refunds wasn鈥檛 on that day! We were told stock should be in at the end of that week. Again waiting, waiting, waiting. Eventually I noticed online they were showing stock but still no call!!! We decided to just go in to get it only to told that we needed to collect from warehouse elsewhere. After a bit of demanding finally got them to give us on from there (only two left in stock by then) but this was over 10 weeks after initially putting it in. Not one call from them during this time, not one email, even though they said they鈥檇 keep us updated. No apologies, nothing.
Not sure if service is this bad everywhere but won鈥檛 be going back, and we鈥檝e purchased a lot through them.

Worst service I鈥檝e ever experienced. They couldn鈥檛 care less about there customers. Will never buy from them again .
