What a fun little place you would expect to find in this small town.
The bartender (and maybe co-owner) knows what she is doing. We went for cigars and they have a pretty extensive humidor for such a small little place. Comfy seating. I would definitely come back.

Be aware of the drink specials only advertised on Facebook only last until 7 PM.
Goodfellas has drink specials, live music, and a cigar bar in the back which is separated by glass door and a wind machine so the smoke does not travel into the main bar.

Great atmosphere and great service! We enjoyed the tuna dip! May sound strange but delicious! Think tuna salad bursting with flavor! We had the beef sliders and they were amazing! Soft buns with some very flavorful beef!
The band was setting up but we left before they started playing, but friendly group of guys! I hate we couldn't stay!
Cant wait to go back!

They have several local favorites and some national faves on tap. I was excited to see Kaliedoscope and Boysenberry Smoothie Sour by Ghost Train. My husband was impressed with their whiskey selection, and had a glass of the JD Sinatra Reserve, which is half of this month! The bar has plenty of seating, and it's tastefully decorated. They pride themselves in serving drinks in actual glasses or bottles, no plastic cups and cans to be seen. We sat on the deck and it was lovely! Being a Monday night, the deck, which overlooks old town Helena, was super quiet. There was jazz playing and the view was superb. The bar is very close to the train tracks, but the owner has managed to turn the train into a positive, because every time a train comes by, the employees shout "Train Shots!" and they offer all patrons $1 shots of whatever the bartender has chosen that night.
I'll let my husband talk about the cigar bar, I didn't go in that side because that his thing. He did say they've "got a great selection of top choice cigars."
Go check em out!

This drinking establishment is host to great wines, popular brands of liquor, and beer for all preferences. I ordered a Manhattan w/ Bulleit Bourbon and it was served w/ maraschino cherries and an orange rind to give it a fresh scent and fresh flavor. They also have pineapple Ciroc if you prefer. Both were served in classy glasses w/ friendly service.
Cool decor and seating areas are on-point as well. We met the owner who showed us around during opening week. They have a cigar room w/ comfortable seating and a great amount of space.
Speakeasy feel w/ great jazz (ie Martin, Sinatra, Armstrong, Cole, etc ) and an outdoor deck!
I'll return. Not just bc I live nearby, but because I appreciate what the owner and his crew has done (cool history) w/ this space and his business/customer ideas moving forward.

We arrived early evening and were fortunate to find street parking, but they have complimentary valet if all the spots are taken. If you enter from the front, you enter at the ground level and walk up a flight a steps (it is ADA compliant and accessible, as well). When you arrive on the the second floor, you turn left for the bar and the deck/outdoor space and right for the cigar room. Even though I'm not a smoker, the ambiance and classy feel of the cigar room makes me want to give it a try. Such a beautiful space. The bar is great, too. There are a wide variety of bourbon choices from everyday to "spoil yourself" selections, beer on tap, wine by the glass and bottle, and martini selections. You can order at the bar or have a seat outside and take advantage of the table/stool service.
They have specials several days of the week which can be found on their Facebook page.
Huge shout out to Eric (the owner), who is incredibly personable, sincere, and clearly wants each customer to enjoy their experience. He made us want to return and continue to support his establishment.
If you find yourself near Helena, I highly recommend giving Goodfellas Social Club a try.
