We have been very pleased with the service we received from Goodfellows in Carshalton Beeches. From our initial enquiry we were kept updated and they helped guide us through the process right up to the point of completion. It has been a particulary difficult time with the pandemic, but all house viewings were done with safety in mind, which was very good. Lee and Sarah were great and always responded in good time and answered any questions that arose. We are glad that we decided to opt for a more traditional estate agent method, as they took away all the hassle and they helped us achieve a high sale price so they ultimately paid for themselves, so good value too. Would recommend.

Absolutely disgusting and arrogant staff. Extremely unhelpful and idle. Making up their own rules just to collect more money and doing absolutely nothing. I have been renting from more estate agencies but this was the most sickening experience I had.
Please avoid them if you want to avoid stress and headaches.

Awful service, don't waste your time. They do nothing other than wait for people to look at online adverts, and rely on their emails to get people in. They told us they could sell our flat for 拢300k with a 1.5% fee. We were skeptical, thinking it more 拢275k, but decided to let them put their money where their mouth was: we offered a sliding scale commission in order to incentivise their team, offering 2% if they actually did sell for 拢300k: essentially offering them more money for just doing the job they said they'd do. In 4 weeks they'd brought in 4 people to view. They complained (to us!) it was because of the price and dropped it by 拢25k. This did nothing to bring people in. Thankfully we'd also agreed just a 4-week contract so we were able to get out and get a proper agency in. It's two weeks post-contract and Goodfellows, to whom we'd given our spare key so they could bring viewers round whenever, are saying they're 'too busy' to return our key and that we should come and get it ourselves! Absolutely ridiculous. A total waste of time.

We recently purchased through Goodfellows in Cheam and dealt with Sabrina Rosenow who was amazing. She had taken us to a few houses before we found the house we eventually bought. She was so lovely to deal with and despite being furloughed was straight back onto get everything moving once it was allowed. She was quick to respond to things and helped deal with any issues with solicitors etc. She was also very helpful when I was looking for potential properties for my Grandparents. I also had a few dealings with Stefan who was also really nice and helpful.

Goodfellows have managed my property for over 8 years and always do an exceptional job. Louise Reader goes above and beyond and is my voice of reason. Mandy-Sue and Kelly are wonderful to deal with and are very professional.

This estate agent is very up and down- mostly awful. It鈥檚 good at sorting things when it鈥檚 in the interests of the estate agent such as finding renters. However when there is an issue with the property they are ridiculously slow and also rude. William is one of the rudest people I have ever come across.

I had the pleasure of working with the team at the North Cheam branch near Sutton. Since I live in the NE of England I needed to work with an Agent that could really be my eyes and ears on the ground with the various interested parties. Upon walking in to the branch it was immediately clear that there was a real team spirit and a 'Can Do' culture about the place. Local knowledge of the market was really excellent also and all tasks and activities were completed in a timely fashion.
I would highly recommend Goodfellows to sell your property.

hopefully enough people will be brave enough to call out this estate agent for the dreadful services. Trustpilot is a real company which allows the truth to be out there.

It is not Everyday that you come across an agency who are very proficient at sending information on their complaints procedures. If only they really understood, it requires action. This agency holds a deposit for a tenant , there is a genuine dispute as the tenant has not paid their rent for two months. This is because the tenant was Mis sold an idea that a landscape would be undertaken. This is not logged in the tenancy agreement or inventory, however both signed by said disputed tenant, who is equipped with a very impressive university degree. One of the agents, I suspect was suspended from management due to bullying the landlord and mis selling a letting to a very clever tenant whom knows the system. Goodfellows being the stakeholder for the deposi, were trying to force another agent into accepting receipt of the deposit ie: shirking responsibility. They went so far as to as to inform the landlord that they could not hold the deposit as they were no longer the managing agents, this means absolutely nothing in the grander scheme of Deposit Holding under Government backed schemes. Unfortunately referring tenants with historic CCJ 鈥榮 and providing false information of previous addresses and employment references is not legal. This blatant lack of provision of reliable referencing is highly unusual for such a huge UK Agency Network. Having endlessly requesting to whom the "Responsible Person is for exit inventory issues" has been continuously ignored by this agency, they insist on requesting for the BACS account of a highly reliable team of people whom had to be engaged due to the many failings of Goodfellows. Sadly the poor state of overall management needs to be highlighted. This year law changed and landlords are now responsible for credit checks, referencing, CCJ searches, contacting local council planning and roads departments in the event your new tenants 鈥渜uiet time鈥?is disturbed. Along with paying for inventory check in and out, cleaning entry and exit. All this which may add to bearing the burden of any damage over and above the 5 week deposit paid for a tenant. Trust me the deposit may never cover the lack of rental income in arrears. Lucky you may be outside new legislation. Goodfellows have acted in an appallingly unprofessional manner, they were paid their fees, deposit fees, management fees. Goodfellows actions to protect a tenant whose behaviour consists of making threats and using creative language in emails threatening to withhold rent whilst building a security fortress in the rental property to stop anyone accessing is curious. My interpretation of Goodfellows is that they have taken their fees and its a case of having been paid and I鈥檓 alright jack attitude. The tenant's reference provided by Goodfellows whom assured Van Mildert as a 'go to referencing company' I would say avoid at all costs this agency and referencing company, not reliable and if you have a reasonable complaint they are 'busy on a call', out at a meeting, not in the office, away on vacation, ill, or just left the company", frustrating that an agency cannot be professional in their responsibilities nor act accordingly. No one wants to waste time giving negative reviews, life is about being positive and upbeat, my advise have an internal review Ms Keating, you are a Director and 'responsible person', take on board a real issue raised and stop adding yourself to emails like someone watching a television soap opera, act accordingly.

Louise and Maria have been excellent in finding replacement tenants for my semi detached in Cheam. The property was only empty for 14 days despite a challenging market environment. Both were on the case and politely pestering me for paperwork and signatures to meet deadlines. Wouldn鈥檛 use any other agents locally.

We especially聽 appreciated all the occasions when maintenance requests were dealt with in a timely manor. The check-in and check-out was very streamlined. Thank you

Beware of the Morden branch. They placed me in a flat that was owned by a greedy and unscrupulous landlord who invented non-existent damage and deducted a ridiculous amount from my deposit for 鈥渞epairs鈥? i.e. 拢10 to fill a couple of pin holes where I had hung pictures on the wall.
They will also not rent property to people who receive any kind of benefits even if they are working full time which is pure discrimination.
