I will summarize my experience with Floor City with the following bullet points:
-Their distribution process is cumbersome and not well managed; I got a number of versions of how the tiles would be delivered and follow up was minimal (all self-generated)
-The tracking system was inaccurate; they could never really tell me where the product was or when it would be delivered
-When final confirmation was received (30 days later), my 6 hour round trip to the closest distribution center was a waste of time as the tiles were not there even after I voiced my concern to the tracking manager, who assured me the tiles would be there
-When I called from the distribution center, they offered to freight the tiles to my home address directly (they gave me a sad story about how much it would cost them and how much they stood to lose) but would confirm carrier and tracking within a few days, 2 weeks later they gave me a story that the product was still in transit as my tiles had been delivered but returned to the Regional hub (this was not true as I talked with the warehouse and they said it was never delivered)
-They finally emailed me (after another week) that my order was cancelled and a refund was being issued. Again, the story was that the carrier had damaged my tile order and wasn't required to issue a damage report until 30 days later so long story short, no tiles after 45 days and lots of aggravation
Floor City proved to be a dishonest middleman, lacking the integrity to take responsibility for their poor service

I wish I had researched a little before I placed an order with Floorcity.com. This company is good at taking your money for product up front, but not delivering. 4 weeks. No order status, no tracking number, yet they have our money. Monday I'm filing a complaint with the State AG.

called to place an order of 30 boxes of VCT and was speaking to one of the Managers (did not give me his name). After asking two questions (Pricing and Pickup) he had the nerve to ask me "what's up with all the questions", I thought I had misheard and asked him what was it he said and he said "what is up with all these questions" I politely said well as a customer I can ask as many questions needed to make sure about my purchase, His response what "well yeah and I do not have to sell to me" and hung up.. I would not spend a dime at this place after being treated like this…

This place is horrible. I cancelled an order b/c in 3 days they had not provided an update on the status of my order or shipped anything to me and the Sales Manager emailed me to say that there would still be a $25 transfer fee and a 35% fee on the item. For what? They never shipped anything to me and I have not received anything. I will never order anything from them ever again! Buyer Beware.

This was SO FAR from the correct floor. It did not match what I ordered in any way.
It is too much trouble to return it, but I am very very disappointed in wasting my time with this company.

Ordered samples. Received them one week later. Wanted to order 1 box of discontinued tile. They said they won't ship one box. I actually only need one tile for a repair and was going to buy a whole box but they wouldn't ship it to me. offered to pick up at one of their warehouses but wouldn't ship it there either.

They were fast, reasonably priced, courteous and accommodating. We needed a specific floor sealer & wax that a client requested and needed to do the job ASAP. They worked with me on a local pick-up, got what we needed and we were able to meet our client's rush job deadline. Highly recommend.

Confusing purchasing process with a lot of hoops to jump through. We traveled 2 hours to the distributor location only to find that our order wasn't in existence. The reference number we were given referenced a completely different order. So… now I have paid for something that I have no idea if or when we will get it along with wasting the travel time. What a headache.
Edit: Andrew was able to turn around our order quickly to fix the wrong order number. We appreciated the quick trouble shooting in order to make our trip to the distributor warehouse worthwhile. Hopefully the product is as good as their service.

I didn't get a confirmation email but called the following day and got everything taken care of. The only down side is they do not offer expedited shipping on any order no matter the cost. I was willin to pay the shipping but they said they cant.

I was not able to get a quote on the product that I am interested in buying. I have to wait until they are open. Your system should be set up to give exact quotes that doesn't include shipping and handling plus the taxes. The customer should be able to get that at least to give them an idea of the cost.

Wasn't made aware of price when ordering and way overpriced!!! Brutal return policy and even no returns on items such as trowels. Will never use again and let the company who contracts me to never use Floor City
