I receive an email, to work with this company la Clerk Accounting. I send all the information they ask my information,thru applications, W-4 and I send everything.

On 4/23/20, I received an email from a Richard Lewis representing for Goldshell Solutions HR/Recruiter (ph: 703/722-6851), offering me a position as an Accounting Clerk. I responded back on 4/29/20 saying that I am interested in learning more about the position. This morning, 4/30/20, I received an email from them with 2 PDF links: First one as a job offer letter of 鈥淔inancial Clerk鈥?(and not as Accounting Clerk as mentioned above) asking for my signature and today鈥檚 date; Second one as an employment application. On the application, it only asks for minimal personal information. However, HR is asking for a copy of my drivers license for a background check – which is common practice, and a copy of my phone bill or utility bill showing my home address – which is odd to me. On the job application, it does not ask for my social security number. Or do they offer links to fill out tax forms. After looking over and reading their website, I decided to not apply.
