Popups lead to unsafe sites claiming you have viruses on your computer – you know the kind – they don't let you close the text box and you have to close the entire browser to make it go away.

Great site for watching anime. Be careful though as there are some…animes that are kinda not for kids. No scams and no viruses unless somehow you click on 'those' ads.
