The worst costumer support service I have ever experienced. I have been waiting for an answer for over one month! Bad service! Very bad service!
P.S. I'm still waiting for an answer from them!

Got two Cyperpunk2077 redeem codes, both does not work, contacted GOG.com support, now about a month dead silence from them.
And one ticket on thier system marked as "Solved", but without further information given, and problem still persist.
Terrible costumer service, would not recommend for anyone else, to have any decision to buy or redeem on this, platform.
I read their claims, that "too many" requests… hire more people, it is not a rocket science…

today will be 34 days since I applied for a refund for cyberpunk 2077, and I still have not received any email from gog. I know we are in a pandemic but with people working from home 34 days is still dreadful, honestly the worst customer service i have ever used. stay away, buy your games on steam.

I have asked for a refund 20 Dec when I already specified that I wanted refund to my GOG Wallet. Instead of giving me the refund the support replied to me asking if I would accept refund to my Wallet. It seems that the support don't even read the e-mails!
The only reply I got told me that they are too busy taking care of the winter sales.
I was a loyal customer, even paying more for their games. A pitty that, like everything else, their service is getting worse.

GOG is a great place to find old games from all the way back to the Windows 95 era in some cases. Some of the games come with converters to work with Win10 as well. They try to take care of their customers.

GoG is mostly just a one-stop-shop for picking up new or classic games, its not a wide platform like Steam with friend integrations or events. Theyre games you buy, download, and can play without the GoG platform, so you keep these games.

It was working so well. But, now i have to take a stand and push back.

As of late, an issue has arisen from GoG about a game called 'Devotion' a game made in Taiwan, had a play on politics relating to the Chinese president. Play on politics is common in video games. From GTA to Saints Row to FarCry and even CoD.

Because of this play on politics, GoG has pulled down this game from their service in ALL REGIONS. Not just Asia, but US and EU. I am severely disappointed in GoG for censoring an ENTIRE GAME that has recived AMAZING score and review, just to keep good buddies with one country.

The controversy actually popped up in February 19,2019, when the game released. Then after a wile, the devs pulled the issue from the game… So, China, is trying to destroy this game developer 'RedCandleGames' for a mention of some political meme.

I thought GoG would be above this. Would be able to region lock at the least. Not pull the game down all across the globe from its platform.

Come on GoG, you where the last pillar. The Chinese Communist Party under TenCent owns some 48% of Epic Games. Steam is just steam. But now, you GoG? I unfortunatly will need to stop my services as i did with Blizzard. I do not wish to support or associate with bigot companies.

P.s. I stand with Hong Kong and Taiwan because of this now. When China stops sticking its fingers where they shouldnt be, ill stop doing the same.

"Earlier today, it was announced that the game Devotion is coming to GOG. After receiving many messages from gamers, we have decided not to list the game in our store."

Translation: "We do not want to lose our China market so we removed the game from our store. We do not care about gamers but money."

Nice that you do whatever to not get censored in China, even lie to us.

Censors real gamer opinions
they don't care about gamers or games in general

I thought GOG was a cut above the rest in terms of ethics. They sell games without DRM and all kinds of other good stuff.
But wow. They bent the knee to China and won't sell Devotion because of a president Xi Winni the Pooh Joke?
Sad to see a good firm bow down to political correctness.
I hope they change their tune.

GOG.com, a website that probably needs no introduction (in 2020). I vastly prefer buying things on this platform over Steam because buying a game here gets me an offline installer that I can backup wherever and whenever I want; over the course of several years, my library has grown to a few hundred titles and so far, I've had no problems with payments (the site accepts a big variety of payment methods, including PayPal) and adding money to my wallet. Definitely recommended. Get your Cyberpunk 2077 copy from here, as all proceeds go to CD Project Red directly.

Amazing, they help me a lot with the refund of my game, even though the reason of the refund was something it can be consider as "non valid" definetely worth it to buy with them

GOG support is very good. I just need to wait for a few days. Part of the process but they ensure everything is sorted out at the end. Thanks GOG

Dec 28th, Final update: Now I received my refund and I'm happy that it worked out, but my final rating will still be 2 stars, and I give that because they made me wait A LOT of time to even get a reponse from a person. I understand they had lots of incoming support tickets but that is their fault for the mess they made with Cyberpunk 2077. They hyped the game up to the stars, made people crazy about it, and released this poorly developed mess full of bugs, glitches and a very dumb and limited AI. Of course A LOT of people would be pissed about it. It's all their fault and NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED TO ME FOR THE WAIT, so the 2 stars rating will remain and I hope that the lesson is learned. If they still think they didn't f*** up, then they are blind and deserve all future backlash that they will receive.

Update 2: They now replied (after 9 days) that they requested to the payment processor to refund me, which will apparently happen only on my next credit card statement. I'm giving 2 stars again (for now) and maybe if I actually receive my money back I can give a final rating.

Update: I'm lowering the rate to 1 star because I'm still being ignored by their customer service.

Ticket: #821327
Order ID: 06c25733e520

I opened a support ticket to request a refund for Cyberpunk 2077. They quickly replied asking me if I wanted a GOG Wallet refund and I said that I wanted a refund to my original payment method (credit card). Since I didn't get a response (I found it strange because the first reply was quick), I then sent the message again, but I'm still not hearing anything from them anymore.
I will happily change my rate if I can get my refund to my credit card.

I reached out to gog.com's customer support team to request a refund. I received an automated reply almost immediately with an offer of store credit, and when I requested the refund be sent to my credit card instead, there was no issue at all in processing it.

The representative I interacted with took extra care to double-check and confirm details that I hadn't thought of. They were friendly, professional, and I am very grateful for their attention to detail!

Bought an old game for Win 10 – doesn't work as described. I'm not interested in trouble shooting or trying to work out bugs – just want a refund. GOG are refusing and only offering me GOG wallet funds or help to fix. I don't want either, I want my money back as per your website!

I'm an old gamer and had some time to kill (covid and all). Also I have 2 young kids so I decided to teach them about building a PC…blah blah blah.
anywho I bought a game on steam…didnt work. asked for a refund and they TOOK FOREVER OMG (for todays generation)..like 3 hours or whatever.
I tried GOG hoping perhaps their platform might play the game (total annihilation) it better. no such luck. same issues as steam. asked for the money back cuz ya know…famous 30 day money back guarantee. now the game was only like 5 or 6 bucks…but its really irritating me how annoying these people are. after reading around, this directx issue is clearly a thing with this game. Steam took no time with it. The run around I got from GOG was horrendous and finally I just gave up and decided some reviews, tell my friends etc etc.
They don't realize how much this stuff will cost them.

Edit: Another automated reply! Doesn't look like they read anything I wrote (in this reply or in any responses to the tickets I generated asking for a refund). Stay away from this company!

An excellent site that I definitely suggest.
First thing you get Installer with no DRM.
Second You can keep all purchased games even if this company does not exit any more.
Third one in this site you can get rare old games that you can't find in other stores.

i like how they keep saying on here to contact their support team. useless, they won't reply back to ya. it's this simple folks. contact your CC company and tell them you were scammed. you CC company will refund you and they they will go after GOG. let's put this scamming site out of business. i paid for and downloaded a game, launched GOG console, it showed a preview of game but said i needed to purchase it to play.

I bought the game "Uprising: Join or Die", but it didn't start. The forum is filled with post regarding problems launching this game. So I tried everything and still couldn't start the game. I contacted support regarding a refund – about 3 months ago – still no response and no refund. Bad bad bad, fake promise to refund within 30 days by just not responding to requests.
