I originally booked with Go Ferry for my honeymoon in August but unfortunately due to current times I have had to cancel my wedding and honeymoon. I emailed on March 23rd requesting a cancellation and a refund. They responded asking if I was sure I wanted to cancel outright and they could reschedule to which I said No I would like my refund as I don't know when we can book a honeymoon in Greece again. We live in Canada but our wedding was booked in Ireland and we wanted to honeymoon straight after the wedding in Greece. They agreed to the refund minus the service fee on March 24th. That was 9 weeks ago and despite reaching out to them many times they have not refunded my money nor have they been any help as to when I will receive it. I've received condescending responses telling me to be patient. I have cancelled a whole wedding and honeymoon and not one other business has left me 9 weeks waiting for a refund. Their customer service is completely unacceptable. Don't book with Go Ferry.
June 3rd update:
In response – No I still have not received my refund. On May 18th I reached out to Go Ferry asking about an update of my refund. I received a reply on May 21st (the day you are stating you issued my refund), you said that you had sent my request to the accounts department. I didn't hear anything back so on May 25th I emailed you again. I then received an email back to say that the ferry company had finally given the go ahead for the refund. Along with a screenshot of what seems to be two transactions. One that said Partial Cancellation – Failure. No explanation about that. No date stated either. I still have NOT received my money back.
I understand that COVID-19 has affected a lot of businesses. I am working full time from home myself and I have dealt with a lot of other businesses in this space of time where I have had to cancel services and request refunds due to the cancellation of my wedding and honeymoon. Not one company has given me the run around and poor customer service like Go Ferry has. They've asked me to edit my review upon their response. I will however not be doing so.

Very friendly and personal contact while booking the Ferry last year. Now again a perfect and fast Service as we had to Change our tickets to Open Date Tickets. Thanks a lot, Thea!

Had to cancel my trip because of Corona. After a very friendly phone call with a staff member, I have now easily changed the cancellation into an Open Ticket until 12-2021. So everybody is helped 🙂

Perfect Reservation System! Everything ran excellent. Had also contact with Thea from the Reservation Department. She could also connect our two Reservations to one Journey with a Discount! Perfect!

I mistakenly booked a ferry one month too early for my trip from Athens to Ios and from what I had heard, dealing with european companies can be stressful at times. However, this was not the case with GoFerry. In under an hour I had my booking cancelled and changed to the correct ferry with only a 25 euro fee which was completely fine.

Amazing!
I am a travel agent and had an issue with needing to correct a date for my clients ferry from Athens to Mykonos. Go-Ferry was amazing to deal with, a simple 25Euro fee and easy email communication and the problem was taken care of. As a travel agent, I can definitely say this was one of the easiest changes and best communication I have had a European supplier!

this is the second time, we booked our ferryboat to Greece with GOFERRY, we had some issues while trying to book online but we got very fast and excellent support from GOFERRY so that the Reservation was successfull with a reasonable price.

We had excellent service. We made a computer mistake for one of our ferry orders and Go Ferry helped us correct the error many months later at no cost to us. They really helped to make our trip a success. The ferries we traveled on were clean and efficient with very helpful and pleasant staff. Thank you For all your extra work.

Booked online a deck space with my dog in a pet kennel on the open deck. Everything went fine until I boarded the ferry to realize that the kennel was a bit small for my golden retriever. At least I could keep him on deck with me on a leash.

I was scheduled to leave Venice to Patras last week when I had a Vespa accident in Rome that necessitated me retuning to the United States to have shoulder surgery.
I contacted goferry to explain my situation in the hopes that I could get a refund for the journey I never embarked on.
I was asked to provide them with the documents showing my fracture and need for surgery and was the fare was fully refunded.
Nice to know that there are still companies that understand accidents happen and plans are forced to change and without any hassle they make it right!
Looking forward to rebooking my ferry when I return to Italy next year.

We arrived went on a small tour of Crete, Athens and the small picturesque island in between the two, Hydra. We arrived in Athens from Crete and I could not find any email confirmation regarding our ferry trip to Hydra.
I had either deleted the emails, or not had any sent through. Regardless, I had to book a last minute trip for us both costing æ‹¢170.
A few hours later i recieved an email saying they had cancelled my booking because they had reference of the same order already paid for, and they sent the email containing the original tickets and refunded my money. Most companies would probably not do this and would expect you to chase them about not noticing such an issue.
Very helpful and saved a lot of stress and money, as at this point we were running dry on our spends.

Easy access to their ferry timetables and no issue at all booking the trip that originally met my travel needs. Then when my plans unfortunately changed and I had to cancel they were quick to assist me and refund my money. I'm sorry that I couldn't make the trip this time, but look forward to calling them again in the near future when I firm up my next visit.

Booking was easy, no additioanl charges to offered complete price, very quick ticket confirmation. Most importantly website informs about all ferry companies and all island ports, not only main port and biggest ferry company. For sure will use goferry again.

I made a booking but for that day the car places were over. So I had to cancel the reservation. The support team responded immediately and offered different options, including to chamge the date or destination of the reserved trip. The problem was solved in few minutes.
