My mistake. I took them at their word. 'Get in touch,' they said, so we can investigate. I did – three times, but they did not respond. That's further evidence of the shoddy way they treat clients. I am still waiting for my final payment!
I was prepared to be reconciled to them on the right terms but, despite inviting me to contact them, there has been a crescendo of silence. Sadly, it seems that public relations count with them more than fairness. If they invite people to get in touch, they might at least have the courtesy to respond to an attempt to make progress. Do they wish to resolve my complaint fairly by paying what I have earned or not? – not, it would appear!
