I contacted this company to give me a quote on paving the back garden. This was June. They were very eager and said they could do it in July. I accepted the quote and was given a date for work to start. I was then contacted a few days later to say they are having problems with the stone slabs they require for the job but will try to source and let me know. This went on for a week or two and I started looking to see if there were suppliers that had stock yet online. I managed to find a few places that confirmed they had stock for companies to purchase from them. I passed on the relevant information to the company to try help them out. They then called to say all good they can now get stock and job will go ahead in August. I advised that we will be away for few days. I was told no problem they will fit me in around other jobs before the 10th of August. Never heard back from them after several calls. Never turned up to do the job. I sent and email and didn鈥檛 get a reply. Today is the 4th of September and still no word from them. So just a warning to people out there. This company came across as ever so nice and being a family business etc. But be careful not to pay any deposits and be careful banking on them doing the work. I could have had the work done 3 months ago through other companies that quoted in the same price range but I waited because I thought these guys were genuine and I thought a person鈥檚 word to turn up for work still meant something. Obviously not! I will not recommend them to others as reliability is key.
