Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard enough but it was made harder by dealing with vendors like global limo. We had been displaced from our venue and no longer needed transportation for a large number or for the length of time we originally asked for. After several phone calls I realized I was speaking to the manager and he lied to me about being in charge. He told me he couldn鈥檛 give me the contact info to speak with the manager after several days of saying he would. We finally were able to get to a price that was lower but still overpriced for the 2 hours we needed the limo. Come our wedding day the limo comes and has NO air conditioning and was a Hot August day. Limo driver left without giving my my change. I鈥檝e tried contacting them but of course no answer. Worst service ever! I am not one to leave negative reviews but I didn鈥檛 want others to melt like myself and my bridal party did.

Update: I was contacted recently by another rep from GlobalLimos who gave my complaint the attention I believe was deserved and apologized for not addressing it properly the first time around. Barring any specifics, they made it right on their end and stated their intent to solve the mechanical issues with the vehicle we rented. With those fixes I鈥檓 updating my review to reflect my experience with the company. Other than the mechanical issues the driver was quick, safe and on time and the outside of the limo was as clean looking as advertised. Below is my old review.
鈥淩ented the 20 person stretch hummer for my wedding on 9/21/19 in San Francisco. I鈥檒l start with the basic version of my night with GlobalLimos. I didn鈥檛 receive the amount of time with the limo as outlined in my reservation and the cars stereo system shorted out half way through rental (which the driver tried to blame on us), the only lights in the limo that worked were the floor light and those stopped working once the stereo went out and the ac worked for the first few hours then was apparently 鈥渘ot working鈥?when we had to have our full wedding party 18 people including photographer. They may be cheaper than some other options but when you factor in the issues we had along with the owner David鈥檚 decline to offer a portion of my money back to compensate for those inconveniences is enough to write them off completely and I have warned our wedding planner, venue and vendors to tell people to avoid Global Limos. I鈥檝e included a longer detailed review below for those interested to take the plunge with this company.
Detailed Review: I initially rented the limo for our wedding on 9-21-19 in San Francisco from 1:30-6:30. I paid the $180 deposit and was told to bring $900 in cash to pay driver remainder of bill plus tip. I left that with our day of coordinator to pay the driver to avoid any headaches being on us (ultimately this was our biggest mistake but I will explain later).
The day started without a hitch and the driver arrived a few minutes ahead of time at 1:15. Not requested, but we were ready anyway so the groomsmen and I got in and the driver took us to Palace of Fine Art for photos. Other than not being able to connect our phone right away, apparently there were too many phones in its memory to connect to a new one, the driver was able to hop in back and fix it and things were going great. Driver was safe and responsible and recommended the area we took photos in and looked like things were going our way. Starting at 2:15 things started to unravel.
We got back in the hummer and had the driver drop us off back at the venue and wait to pick up the bride and her party. Immediately, once we left the Palace of Fine Arts the Bluetooth stereo system stopped working. We asked the driver if something was wrong with the stereo because the power kept cycling on and off as if there was a bad fuse in it. Clearly agitated, the driver parked the car and went in back again to see what was wrong with it and accused us of being too rough with it. We only touched the power button to confirm Bluetooth, there was nothing to 鈥渞ough up鈥? The driver got the stereo back on somehow and got back on the road. However, aa we get down the street the stereo shorted out again and would continue to multiple times until we arrived back at the venue. We gave up after about 10 min with turning it on permanently since we were on a schedule to get back.
Fast forward to 4:30. Our ceremony has ended and we are in the middle of taking family photos at the venue. I had my photographer run over to me and tell me the driver told the venue that we only have him for another hour and says he is out at 5:45. We were expecting, and I had an invoice, that said we were rented out until 6:30. After showing him my invoice that said 1:30 to 6:30, he proceeded to take out his phone and show me a text that said 1:30-5:30 which I told him was not my problem and to tell David to get on the phone. The driver makes a phone call to David while the rest of our 17 person wedding party decide to abandon our year-long planned schedule and all run into the limo making us miss photo opportunities with our families some of whom had flown across the country for.
After people start getting in the driver tells me not to worry about the time (are you serious?!??? You鈥檝e already ruined our timing and possibly our photos) and he also says the stereo and AC are now not working. Perfect, exactly like we pictured we鈥檇 have it. I鈥檓 fuming at this point and really hoped that my day of planner didnt pay the driver yet. We rush through our photos and have the driver drop us back off at the venue at 5:45 because at this point my trust in the driver and his word have eroded down to nothing and we were worried about him pulling a fast one and leaving us at our photo spot. I found out when we returned that my wedding planner already paid the driver and I knew, outside of a large verbal altercation, there was no way I would convince him that鈥檚 they didn鈥檛 live up to their end of the contract. I choose my wedding day over bickering with this guy outside my venue and walked away.
I called David on Sep 22nd and my plea for him to be reasonable and refund us a portion of the bill since none of what was promised; a working stereo, ac, interior lights, or most importantly the TIME WE RESERVED. He began to spout some nonsense about how the driver showed up 45 min early and left later than reserved and that our wedding planner told him multiple times that we would be done at 5:30. I know this is B.S. since we have multiple written and digital schedules along with THE INVOICE THEY SENT ME that has our limo out time as 6:30. He also said we weren鈥檛 charged for transporting the vehicle to us which apparently other companies charge for and that should make up for the fact that his limo is not as advertised. After telling him I reserved online and paid exactly what was outlined in the invoice which makes no mention of these so called 鈥渄iscounts鈥?he said he would call the driver and see if there鈥檚 anything he could do. I told him I would wait to hear from him before I wrote my review but instead I received no call and a link to leave a review. So here鈥檚 your review David. ????
At the end of the day there are plenty of limo companies in the Bay Area with similar vehicles and most likely better customer service. The price does not excuse the blatant false promotion of the vehicles in their fleet. I鈥檓 posting this review on every possible online platform that I can find that deals with Bay Area based weddings and I have already told our families and friends; who are heavily Bay-Area based, to avoid Global Limos like the plague. When it comes to your day don鈥檛 deal with these clowns. There are plenty of reputable limo businesses that work in the Bay Area. I feel obligated to warn you that this is not one of them.鈥?

We have used this company for several years and have been delighted with their services! From wine tours to birthday outings to last-minute transportation to the airport- whatever our needs they have always accommodated us. I highly recommend Global limos and his crew!

Excellent service!! The bus driver was excellent and caring towards the kids for prom and made their night unforgettable. He was very responsible, professional, flexible, and punctual with his time! We will book with them again.

I have used Global Limos many times, and they have always been on time (in fact early & waiting) and very courteous. We even used them for a party bus a few years back, for my wife's birthday, and they were great. They are my go-to for the airport transport.

I was picked up from the airport in a nice looking limousine from Global limos when I visited California. The car was clean. The driver was pleasant and helped with my bags with a smile on his face the whole time. I personally plan on only using them for my traveling limo services.

Airport Car Service from LAX Airport to Hotel, Los Angeles
Simply outstanding & professional service. I was impressed to see the driver from baggage claim and he noted which carousel our bags are coming out from. They provided me and my family a quality service. Although we were stuck in some traffic, the driver was very accommodative. Daisy, the reservation agent, was awesome to deal with. Thank you for offering us the most reliable and professional Service. We are looking forward to a trip to Napa Valley and we are expecting the same magnificence.

I am completely satisfied with their service. The car arrived on time and it was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Actually, I asked Global Limos to arrange a 10-Seater Limo as I thought it would go well with 9 people but we ended up with 8 people. So, the 8 of us had lots of room in the back. We enjoyed thoroughly. The music system was good. Perhaps, it was one of the best decisions taken so far. Excellent service and the most responsive staff. Highly recommended

Sporting Tour in Hummer Limo Boston
Last year I had hosted a Sporting tour and the vehicle was extremely luxurious. I personally recommend Manny, not only he is prompt and polite but he provides all the amenities you could ever imagine. The car was extremely neat and well-maintained. For the reliable service, I would recommend Global Limos as they will never disappoint you.

I arrived in San Jose last week on a business trip and couldn鈥檛 be more pleased with the service I received from Global Limos. The service was actually a lot cheaper than expected, yet still held the quality to the highest standard. Bachelor Party in Charter Bus Chicago
Actually, I had my reservation with other Limo company but my reservation got declined due to some unnatural reason. Thanks, Moe, who had taken care of my reservation and offered me a spacious Charter bus loaded with all the party amenities. I was pleased with the assistance received from Moe and the chauffeur who had taken care of some additional details like pickups and drop-offs. The chauffeur even recommended us some of the best places to dine in and I must appreciate his professionalism and sense of humour. He had taken steps to ensure added time together. Our rental was a Mercedes Sprinter for SFO to Berkeley. The vehicle was new, very comfortable. The only think that lacked a little was it took us 10 minutes to locate the driver at the airport, that could also be because of the airport parking issues. Our ride to Berkeley was comfortable and fun.

On March 27, I had called Global Limos to arrange an exquisite vehicle that could accommodate a group size of 15 people. Manny, the reservation agent, arranged me a Hummer Limo. The staff response was prompt. As soon as I mailed my requirements, they effortlessly handled all of the arrangements related to the trip. I had an Amazing Party Bus rental in Sacramento. Ww decided to rent an executive limo bus. We were surprised to get a two in 1 party bus and executive bus for business and pleasure it was an amazing experience for the wine tours in Napa. Our chauffeur was courteous and accommodated all our needs.

Amazing Party Bus rental in Sacramento. We rented a new party bus: executive and limo bus seating combined. It was an amazing experience for the wine tours in Napa. Our driver was courteous and went above-and-beyond for us. It was pleasant experience booking with empire limousine and it was a great value and everybody was happy and had a good time.

Great service, we rented a SUV from Roseville Ca to Napa. The SUV was late model, the leather interior was pristine, we thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour. We went to the Sterling winery in Saint Helena. Our time was going to be half an hour over the limit, however, we were given a grace period without any extra charge.
Next time, we are going to try a Hummer limo rental. I will thoroughly recommend their service.

This company is a SCAM. We called Global Limos and arranged a price for a party bus with "Harry", who he agreed to the price verbally and confirmed via text. After the reservation was made, we reached out to our rep because we had not received official confirmation of our payment. A few days before the event, he texted us back saying that the price would be thousands of dollars more than he previously agreed, initially stating that it was "because the bus broke down." After inquiring further, it became clear that the price was raised because "it was a busy night for proms" and they thought they could get a better deal from another group. This left us unable to find a new company only days before the event. Several other customers have reported similar experiences. Global Limos is an unreliable, untrustworthy company and I would not recommend to anyone. Zero stars.

I don鈥檛 share reviews often, but when a company has poor customer service, I think it鈥檚 necessary because I would like to hear other people鈥檚 experience before choosing. We called global limosuines and arranged a price that they verbally and via text agreed to. After trying to reach them for a few days leading up to our event, the rep we spoke with wasn鈥檛 answering or returning our calls. This was after telling us he would call us back after speaking with his manager days earlier to confirm prices. Close to the event, he texted us back saying that the price they could do would be hundreds of dollars more than he previously agreed. I again called him and he didn鈥檛 go to a manager for me to speak with, nor did he ramnify there poor customer service. We were put off and the price was raised by hundreds of dollars right before our event. Leaving us to search for a new company right before we needed a limo. I鈥檇 recommend avoiding global limousines, or at least know what happened with our experience.

This company is a Scam! We booked a limo for 7 hours and multiple stops. Confirmed the day of our event. The limo NEVER showed up, leaving all 12 of our prom goers stranded. They were slow to resolve the issue and then when we finally got transportation 3 hours after our scheduled pick up, they charged our card for full amount. Terrible company! Do not recommend!

Last year, it was my first visit to New York City and apparently my first reservation with Global Limo. The service was recommended by one of the colleagues and he recognized the service for its unmatched customer support. And I must admit that he is absolutely right. As soon as I called the customer representative to book a Limousine from JFK Airport, I received great email follow-ups. Moreover, they also offered me great help to find the best places to visit in New York.

A few months ago, I had called Global Limo and shared my needs and preferences with Daisy. On the basis of my needs and preferences, she arranged me a Party Bus. The bus turned out to be luxuriously equipped with the latest technology. The music system was too good to enjoy the Bachelor Party before exchanging vows. Moreover, the chauffeur was professional and very attentive to our crew. Overall the service offered by Global Limo was impeccable. Thanks, Global Limos for making my day so special.

Last Year, I had booked a Hummer Limo on the day of my wedding from Global Limos. Moe effortlessly handled for my needs and preferences and assisted in details regarding timings, the number of people to place in which vehicle, where to drop off and where to pick up the bride. He also made coordinated with the driver to make sure that the ride to church and airport (for the honeymoon) are scheduled correctly. Our out-of-town wedding guests were astounded with the service. Definitely, a great business to go with your Limo Service.
