GetResponse

Horrible. They offered a "bonus offer" which was in reality just them charging me early – it was just a mess. The offer was not worded well and really misrepresented. They have refused to provide a refund for this prepayment, citing their "no refunds policy." I've also had deliverability issues – they were down for like 3 weeks over the summer. DONT EVER USE.

This mail service will charge you to send emails into your lists spam folder. After repeated support tickets about this issue and being told a different answer (that was not the problem) when I tried to cancel they have refused to cancel my payments as per a written request, they ignored it and have continued to charge me. This service is completely USELESS and I would strongly recommend mailchimp as a much better alternative.

Services are unreliable and support is unqualified. I scheduled a webinar and my presenters couldn't join via link. After reporting the issue, they said that I am doing something wrong (this is after dozens of already organised webinars, where the issue was not present). In the end, when the webinar did happen, the issue was not resolved and we had to re-direct people to another platform (it was a live event).

After setting up 2 more tickets, which were not replied for 3 weeks (despite me sending the reminders) I was charged full amount and accused that it is my technical problem, as everything is running smoothly from their end. Which is exactly opposite than what a support person on live chat wrote to me (after first and before next 2 tickets) – that he agrees there's an issue he doesn't have an answer for.

GetResponse is only for those who want just to give money to a company, but never receive the services you are paying for.

THE WORST NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE

They deleted our account after we upgraded it for one day. They said it's because the unknown bounces was high. How ridiculous it is?
They also don't want to refund our money when they can't provide us their services.

I notified this company by email in April 2020 that I wanted to close my account and requested they not attempt to charge any more monthly payments.

They cotinued to do so and I wrote again in July – with the same result – they kept charging my debit card.

After sending another email I am told that – as per the small print hidden in the T&C – they do not accept written instructions to cancel and that I have to do so via my online account.

I have now done this – and managed to resist their 'are you sure you want to leave' requests and discounted offers.

I joined GetResponse in good faith but then decided I did not need their service. Their treatment of customers is terrible and their T&C are designed to allow them to 'legally' keep charging customers who have asked them not to.

Avoid this company at all costs. They are con-men.

Can I give less than 1 star??? Their platform is about as fast as dial-up, and there customer service is the same speed, if you get any! I tried to cancel and they charged me $20 instead! And told me that they don't offer refunds.

Do yourself a HUGE favour, if you are considering using GetResponse, don't!

If I could leave lower than the ones star score I would. This company is a scam, for months now I have been trying to cancel my subscription with them sending them multiple emails of requests, sending them multiple screenshots every month when they continue to charge my card. they say it鈥檚 canceled but then they want proof that they鈥檙e charging me and then when I show them proof they say I haven鈥檛 canceled and it went on for months and months and months!!! I finally had to report fraud to get them to stop! Also they have the worst customer service and they are a bunch of scam artists claiming that I didn鈥檛 cancel when I have proof in emails that I have tried to cancel for the last six months! Think twice before using them! Clearly reviews speak for themselves

They just blocked our company's account without any explanation and stole $499 we paid for another month of usage.
Saying that this is under their T&C. Please refund the money or restore the account.

The worst customer service I've ever seen.

SCAM ALERT: I have been using GetResponse for a small list and like it better than Mailchimp.

I wanted to transfer my list of 100k emails from Mailchimp to Getresponse. In order to do so I had to upgrade to 100k list plan & elected to do the 2-year payment plan upfront to save 20%. The total bill was around $7,500.

This would have all been fine and I would be a happy customer, except my list was rejected after upgrading! Now GetResponse says they cannot help me get my list accepted and they cannot refund my $7,500!

So basically they are a scam! What an unethical, scamming, money stealing pathetic company that is stealing money from small businesses!

Getresponse are THE WORST bunch of scammers I have ever had the misfortune of using. Firstly their email deliverability is terrible, most emails are never received by any ESP let alone go into their inbox, secondly their editor to compose an email is the worst I have ever had the misfortune of using, it's almost unusable it's that bad, thirdly their customer service is terrible, most enquires are simply ignored. But worst of all is the way they steal money from your account with no authorisation even after you have left their service.
I used to use Getresponse several years ago and they were great which is why I returned to use them recently, but those days are GONE!! Whoever is running them now are plain criminals, their service is the worst out of every autoresponder I have ever used and their practices of taking money for services that don't work simply illegal. As you can see from the rest of the reviews here I'm not the only one that has had the misfortune of using them so if you are reading this and thinking about joining DON'T!!!!

SCAM!!!!!
Fraudulently charged my bank account $103.20!!!
No phone number to call either. Very suspicious.
I never heard of this company before this. I never authorized any funds to be paid out of my account!
Lucky for them they don鈥檛 have an address in NY or I would be paying then a visit with the police!

Those brilliant performers just blew our easter campaign. After upgrading form free test version to full service they blocked our account for several days for "account verification" with no prior anouncement. They were also unable to solve the problem by switching from direct debeting to credit card payment, as offered.
The many bad reviews here are perfectly right. This company seems to be run by a bunch of amateurish children with zero business experience and zero creditability. They missuse you as a guinee pig, learning how to run a company. STAY AWAY.

THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL! DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY. WE USED THEM FOR ONE DAY, THEY DEACTIVATED OUR ACCOUNT CLAIMING WE "SOLD DRUGS" WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE AND RIDICULOUS. THEN SAID WE WOULDN'T BE GETTING A REFUND. THE PLATFORM ITSELF IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO DESIGN IN. THE TEMPLATES ARE HORRIBLE AND THE END RESULT IS SO EXTREMELY BASIC, IT'S NOT WORTH THE STRUGGLE.

DON'T SIGN UP! UNLESS YOU HAVE $100 TO WASTE AND 100 HOURS OF FRUSTRATION TO SPARE

I would recommend it to friends and professionals in the field. But what a depressing business card.

From what I saw, the error is recurrent and many people are deceived. What a sad way to make money.

Money wolfs with no service. Even if you try the service you will never get your money back. Be warned for every business! Avoid at all cost.

Edit: Already contacted the Customer service, but they refuse a refund.
————————————————————
The website has dubious terms, which confuse the consumer. For example,
when accessing content to make a sales funnel. When trying to access the
next class, the card was requested but without any moment mentioning that
the charge would be made immediately. Leaving it understood that the 30
days free continue to be valid.
In this case, and with the intention of future use of the platform, I
require reimbursement in order to avoid complaint books and lawsuits for so
little.

$ 50, one time and dishonest, is it more valuable? Or $ 50 honest,
satisfied, every month, and happy with the treatment of your company, is it
more valuable to you?

I'm waiting for my refund.
I would really like to remain a partner with GetResponse. But in an honest way.

Thanks in advance for your support.

I wanted to trial getresponse. Their plans say "try free for 30 days" in tiny writing below the "choose plan" button, which I believed to mean I could trial their plan for 30 days!

I chose the mid tier plan and it charged me immediately. When I contacted them immediately about this (without even using their service) they said they wouldn't refund the money or allow me to trial their site because it was my mistake for clicking the wrong button (the text below the button is also a button- not very clear). They argued that there was a "clear distinction" in the trial (there wasn't)

They've now lost a customer, because they essentially tricked and misled me into a subscription.

Getresponse just stole 鈧?40 from my mums account even if my mum never used their services. My mother does not even know what this dodgy company does until we searched Google and came across into this. Scam Alert anyone that is masked as a marketing tool.

There are alot of ESP, but really dont go for Getresponse unless you know your database is great. If you violate on the terms, they will close your account in a blink of an eye. That means you cant export your contacts and you will not get a refund. Be aware. Better go for Mailerlite, Sendinblue or Mailchimp.

About the system… everything works, but the WYSIWYG editor is not easy to use and there are almost no blocks. Plz avoid this ESP if you want to grow your database.

Despite the fact I have been a customer of Get Response for more than four years, I will say they are the least customer friendly of any company I have ever dealt with. Getting a legitimate list of emails processed and accepted by their system is like having to prove your virginity, but worse.

Their platform doesn't support mobile use with various forms and elements they have. I signed up, paid for the service, spent a TON of time getting my newsletters, pop forms, etc. setup. Only to learn that people accessing my site via mobile were getting trapped at the popup with no way of getting out. I contacted getresponse and learned that they don't support mobile with certain elements they offer. This to me is the equivalent of paying for a website hosting platform and learning they don't support mobile. CRAZY! I asked for a refund as I had been using the platform less than 2 weeks, and they are useless to me now, and they refused.

Side note: Using the site is a hassle. It has a bunch of glitches, I tried using it on Firefox, Chrome, and Explorer and I had struggles with the creation portions of the platform on every single browser. Save your money and go to DRIP instead. They support mobile.
