Did exactly what i wanted for a travel agency. Gave me the best options for the place i wanted to go and had no problems what so ever with it. The hotel bookings were on point and we were allowed to pay in 3 parts (or we could pay the full price in the beggining). No problems with it. Low prices as well. Recommend 🙂

GeoStar stole my credit card number and charged $495 to it. I believe they hack email accounts through email subscriptions to Cheapflights.com.

Thank you do much to all the other people who posted their experiences here.
I also booked a flight with Geostar and thought I'd lost my money but luckily for me the bank blocked the payment.
If they hadnt I would of lost æ‹¢600.
Obviously the bank blocked it for a reason, they must know that this company is suspect.
I learnt my lesson to always check a company's reputation here on Trustpilot.

We have been ripped off by this company. We booked same-day flight tickets with them (found by Skyscanner), they well sent us an email for the creation of our "Geostar account" and took our payment, but we NEVER received our bookig confirmation. We could only get a reservation number which is internal to them and which was useless to find our booking! We then tried to call them immediately, no answer, so we emailed to request a refund. Still no answer! So chased them a couple of days later, and they (finally) replied by pretending we made a mistake on our email address, and they attached 2 PDFs of emails they pretended they sent to us, in which they mispelled horribly my name so I doubt the mistake on the email address was from us… Both emails were supposed to ask us to confirm our details (which we have never been able to reply to as we NEVER GOT THE EMAIL…). Now we are struggling to have them to refund us as they just ignore our correspondences, therefore we are now starting to take further actions and if needed we will go to legal… and in the meanwhile we will report this dubious practice behaviour to all the institutions we can. I travel more than 15 times a year and never had this kind of issues before, although I used many agencies.

I came across GeoStar when I used Sky Scanner to find a flight between Madrid and Lisbon.

I registered on the website and booked my flight on TAP Air Portugal. However, it was not clear to me whether or not hold baggage was included or excluded in the ticket price. During the purchase process, there was no detail about the air fare, airport taxes or hold baggage and whether it was included in the price.

I e-mailed Geostar in English to ask for clarification and I received a response in Portuguese. I asked for an English translation which was never received.

Upon arrival at Madrid airport, we were informed by TAP that hold baggage was not included and we had to pay a higher price at the airport.

My main complaint (and why I will never use GeoStar again) is that their customer service is very poor, as I followed up with various e-mails after my trip. They have not apologised at all for their poor communications.

AVOID GeoStar at all costs!
