Bought a refundable flexi ticket and had my flight cancelled. Despite having paid extra for a refundable ticket my refund request has been denied and they claim the law has changed in Georgia to allow airlines to only offer only refund vouchers which they only have to provide two months after their self declared state of emergency is over.
Have chased and chased and no update on refund timing or status. Has become a bit of a scam

We had a cancellation due to Coronavirus and they managed it so bad.
It takes so long to get an answer from them (more than 10 days) and the few answers I got were "send an e-mail to another account"
At first they said that I was going to get my money back, and a few days later they said that this was not possible and I could take a fligh in 2020 (I didn't even had a year to spend it, just a few months).
This won't be possible, so the only option they give me is losing my money, even if they have cancellated the fligh less than 14 days before the fligh, and according to european guidelines I could get also a compensation.
For now, the situation is that I will lose my money and my patience.

We had to reschedule our return flight from Tbilisi – Amsterdam due to cancellation of the original flight. Not a problem. The new flight was 2 days later. But when we arrived at the airport, they said that we didn't have a valid ticket for the flight (they mixed up something in the system). And that we had to buy a new one. Mistakes happen and we could get into the flight in the end, so that's not the problem. But now I'm still waiting (8+ months) for the extra costs of the new ticket. I've send several (20+ e-mails) but the claim department doesn't answer, neither does the Amsterdam office nor the costumer service. They just ignore us. Horrible experience.

We had a flight from Yerevan to Tbilisi. Thank god the flight was only one way because they've cancelled it 2 days before the actual flight. We shoud've flown on 5th of July and we got an email notification on 3rd. There was no explanation, just our booking was cancelled. We were trying to reach their office – nothing. We even went physically to their office, but they told us to write on their emails and that we will get a response. We wrote thousands of times – they're ignoring. I was writing to their page on Facebook – they are telling me again to write on their emails, and I'm telling them that emails are being ignored, but they don't care! When you try to reach them out on the phone, they are, again, telling to write on an email that IGNORES customers. After 3 months we got an email that we will get a refund in 20 days, but again – nothing happened! This is not an air company, it's a scum! Will never book a flight here ever again.

The flight got a 8 hours delay from Gatwick Airport to Tbilisi 19/08/2019 the time we were supposed to fly was 10:45 pm but they delayed it and made it 06:25 am. I had paid for hotel and taxi and it cost me 拢400.00 the way I see this is stealing. My mother has blood pressure problems and my sister has a kidney condition and has severe pain. In the airport they said that because we are flying with Georgian airways they don't want to do anything and they don't except any responsibility they won't give us a hotel and not even a food voucher. I paid 拢1400.00 for 3 tickets for going and returning this is not acceptable for me and once again I see this as stealing. By the law the airways should pay me back or at least some of my payment.

Awful company, they have cancelled flight Yerevan-Tbilisi-Prague via Georgian airways, without informing passengers. The representative doesn't answer calls(091418644). Any information, any representative, nobody can reach them, any hot line……we have lost our flight to Prague as well and any information….we are waiting in the airport with children and people doesn't know what to do any feedback. Any responsible person….don't use this air company, they don't care about their passengers, this kind of terrible and defiant approach, never seen???who is responsible for the mentioned situation?

Service at the airport was absolutely awful. Staff are so rude and dismissive. So much trouble with bags. No professionalism, respect for passengers or friendly smiles anywhere. I will be wary to flight with Georgian Airways again.

I flew with Georgian Airways from London Gatwick to Tbilisi and back in May 2018. The aircraft was an Embraer 190 bothways. Check-in was easy at both ends, and the flight took off and landed on time.
The leg room was average but then this was a short 4-5 hr flight.
There was no inflight entertainment although there were monitors on the back of each seat.
The meal was average and the drink service was poor. I asked for a red wine and I got about 50mls in a paper cup.

During a holiday to Georgia in Jul 2015 booked an internal (return) from Tibilisi to Batumi. Informed the airline holiday was cancelled due to illness. Thet responded quickly, wished a speedy recovery and the full amount less a small administrative charge, was credited to my bank in 3 days. Excellent customer service and highly recommended.
