We originally bought our universal gym from Gym Source. Fine. However, when we moved, we hired them to take down and set it up in our new home. Take down was $350. Set up was $425. VERY DIFFICULT to schedule them to set up. Took WEEKS. THEN, when it was set up, the cables had slack and rubbed against each other. Impossible to get FRANK to schedule them to fix the issue. Had to hire GYM SOLUTION (845-605-1210) to come fix it. Called FRANK at GYM SOURCE to ask for a refund of his work. He said he would call me back. Now he doesn't pick-up the phone. GYM SOURCE = RIP-OFF!!

There are many advantages of home gym, If you have your own home gym, you will pay more attention to your health and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and never have to share equipment or wait for a gym to open up.

I鈥檓 disappointed in Gym Source but even more disappointed in myself for recently doing business with them again. In the past 2 years I鈥檝e purchased from them commercial gyms and spent $50,000 with the company. I recently wanted a bike for my home. They screwed it up and really could care less about my lack of satisfaction. Here鈥檚 the big kicker – they know that I鈥檓 going to spend another $100,000 in the next year but it still doesn鈥檛 motivate them. Now just consider that you are a customer who does less business with them and imagine how poorly they will treat you!

Ordered a barbell over a month ago. Was told the product wasn't in stock and would take at least 3 weeks to be delivered.

No big deal. I requested a refund. Was assured it would be handled. This was a month ago. I've reached out three times via email. One time via phone where I was told no one can help me except for the email address I've been corresponding with.

Totally understanding of the whole covid19 situation, but processing a return is a digital task so this excuse holds no weight.

I would highly recommend NOT using this vendor for anything as they have not been able to handle a simple task. Will never buy from them again.

Unfortunately since they've done such a poor job refunding my money, I now have to be the crybaby who runs to the internet to leave bad reviews.

In April 2017, my husband and I paid $5600 for a Cybex elliptical from GymSource (Tarrytown Road, White Plains). Since we got the unit, it has been making an excessive amount of noise (clunking with every pedal stroke). We鈥檝e had it serviced by Gymsource approximately 15 times, to no avail. I asked to have the unit replaced, as they have replaced almost every piece they say could be making the noise, but it鈥檚 still ridiculously loud. The store manager refuses and tells me to contact service. The last time I called, they told me the warranty was about to expire and that even though we鈥檝e had ongoing service problems, they cannot extend it. So now we are stuck with a unit that makes a ton of noise, apparently can鈥檛 be serviced, and if we do want it serviced we will have to pay for it. I would NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

So impressed with GymSource!. Enrique (at the 6th Ct location) is especially great. He is beyond knowledgeable, very professional and a pleasure to work with!
Bought several pieces of equipment from them for over 20 years and it has always been a great experience. Their prices are competitive and their selection is great. Plus they really stand by their products! Would definitely use them again!

FROM HUMAN RESOUCES THE WOMAN THAT WORKS THERE IS AND ABSOLUTLE DUMMY!!! SHE DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE TO WHAT IS GOING ON SHE SENT ME A WELCOME LETTER THAT HAD ANOTHER EMPLOYEES NAME ON IT. WHEN SHE HAD JUST SPOKEN TO ME.

THE EMLOYEES IN HOLLYWOOD ARE TALKING ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY THEY MAKE WORKING IN A STRIP CLUB. THERE IS GIRL THAT IS SO ARROGANT AND LAZY AND DID NOT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING!!!! SHE BECAME FRIENDS WITH THE MANAGER SO SHE DOES NOT HAVE TO WORK!!! IT WORK LIKE A CHARM AS THE MANAGER WAS SO DISCONNECTED TO WHAT WAS GOING ON!!!

THE MANAGER SHE IS ALWAYS ON HER PHONE, MAKING PERSONAL PHONE CALLS. THERE ARE EMPLOYEES THAT WORK IN THE WAREHOUSE THAT ARE FIGHTING EVERYDAY AND SOUND LIKE THEY ARE KILLING EACHOTHER. WHEN THEY WERE TRAINING ME I HEARD SOMEONE SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THERE LUNGS I DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON AND THE EMPLOYEE THAT WAS TRAINING ME TOLD ME THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A VERY LONG TIME. WE JUST IGNORE THEM I SAID HOW COULD YOU IGNORE THEM THEY SOUND LIKE THERE KILLING EACHOTHER.

THE MALE MANAGER PLAYS STUPID AS HE STAYS AWAY, FAR AWAY FROM THE WAREHOUSE PRETENDING NOT TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON MEANTIME HE HAS EMPLOYED THESE INSANE INDIVIUALS FOR YEARS.

THE PROFANITY AND THE CONDITIONS OF THIS PLACE IS BEYOND BELIEF. THIS IS A HOSTIL ENVIORMENT, DO NOT APPLY TO THIS DUMP IF YOUR LOOKING FOR EMPLOYMENT!!! TO SAY THE LEAST!!!

I had a terrible experience with gym source. I bought my treadmill at the midtown branch in Manhattan. I waited two weeks without hearing from anyone, and had to track them down to schedule a delivery. The delivery guys did damage to my floor–a deep scratch (which I'm evidently going to be reimbursed for. One positive experience so far). The delivery guys discovered that the console wasn't working, and we were told to wait on the new part to be delivered. There was no follow-up from the company. No apology, no heads up as to when we could expect the part to come in. Again, I had to track down someone to get any info. I repeatedly contacted one of their people. He was gracious at first, but then he dropped me and I had to keep following up. I felt like if I didn't follow up, nothing was going to happen. They finally scheduled a second delivery, and when the technician got here, he discovered they had misdiagnosed the first problem, and now they needed yet another part. Again, there was no follow-up whatsoever. I wrote a letter detailing my frustration in a calm, respectful, but firm manner. I got the briefest of responses with no apology. Now I am waiting on my third delivery. We'll see what happens…. What has really gotten to me is the total lack of follow-up, courtesy, and care. I paid a lot of my money for my treadmill, had two botched deliveries so far, incurred a deep scratch, and you'd think that I was just bothering them over nothing, and they wished I'd go away. Work on your customer service, guys!!!

bought a true m50 elliptical on 3/4/17 made a nocking noise right away service came on 3/9 said it needed bearings ordered bearings service tech replaced bearing on 3/31 still making same noise tech started spraying everything to quiet it up retightened everything still making noise tech was frustrated and said he is done working on it and if i was old and hard of hearing it would not bother me.said i should get a new machine.called gym source when tech was here and let them hear the noise.he said there is something drastically wrong with it.and he was going to e mail somebody a nd they would be getting in touch with me.still waiting its been 3 weeks if it can't be fixed i would like a new machine or my money back

We wouldn't buy our gym equipment from anyone else, David is fantastic to work with! He accurately assessed our needs and made suggestions; we did our research and then purchased the items based on on-line customer and professional reviews. All 3 purchases were wise investments and have helped us to make an important lifestyle change. David is friendly, knowledgeable and follows through on his word. We've also found Gym Source's prices to be excellent! Would very highly recommend :)!

Excellent and HONEST service. Kept me within my budget and didn't try to "oversell." Highly recommend. Only place I will buy another treadmill from. (The quality of the treadmill we got is excellent so, I probably won't be back for a while.)

Great all around experience. Sales staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Delivery people were right on schedule and made quick work of assembly and demo. I would highly recommend Gym Source to others and would return to purchase other products.

The guy who sold me the powerblock set was nice and courteous. He didn't push me to buy anything extra and even pointed out they were discounted this month, which I hadn't realized. I would definitely buy here again!

My wife and I have been buying and using exercise equipment from GymSource since the early 90's. We trust their opinions and recommendations on the equipment we buy from them.
From salespeople to delivery people, they've been top notch.

I've bought 3 expensive items at this store. Products are good and sales team is knowledgable. Gym Source has a promotional sale pretty much every month, and always has some additional pseudo-sale going on at all times. Staff always presents the hard sale, never telling you about the upcoming sale. Recently I asked if floor models were for sale, was told no and bought a NEW item. On the day of purchase, I walk in and SOLD signs are on half the floor models. "Oh, we are moving locations and had to sell" they said. Also, other salesman don't waste their time with you because they don't get your commission. These are issues management should work out.
