Myself and my partner will not be recommending Gulf Air to anyone and most certainly never fly with them again. In January of this year myself and my partner booked our honeymoon. The trip of a lifetime to the Maldives, and have been so excited to go on this trip the 1st as a married couple all year. Unfortunately due to the current GLOBAL PANDEMIC we have unwillingly had to postpone our wedding until next year. Therefore wanted to postpone our honeymoon to the Maldives also. Gulf Air have made this extremely difficult for us at an already difficult and stressful time. Not only have we got the stresses of moving a whole wedding and continuing to plan one but we both have remained in full time employment working as key workers on the front line of this pandemic whilst trying our best to look after our shielded families at home. Gulf Air have REFUSED to allow us to move our flight to February 2021 as the flights would be more then 365 days after we originally booked them. Its beggers belief that an air line as large as Gulf Air cannot take a global pandemic into consideration or the fact the flights were booked for a honeymoon in which the wedding is now not able to take place. I struggle to believe that nothing can be done to help us have the honeymoon we deserve at the time we want. We now face the options of having to take our honeymoon in November, 3 months before we get married or face losing thousands of pounds. Thanks Gulf Air, for continuing to make 2020 one of the WORST years in history.

First time using them. I booked a flight back home which was cancelled. They said I can have a refund but 4 months later they still haven't refunded me and haven't said when I will get my money back.

Not the best first experience with them but I would definitely use again for a second try.
In Feb, I was flying from Heathrow to Bangkok but due to technical issue faced a 30hr delay. I spent one night in Heathrow, one night and one day in Bahrain (got visa so went sightseeing for the day) and arrived BKK Sunday morning.
Pros: I paid for economy class and it was what i thought it would be, nothing more or less. I would say they did a fairly good job in managing the delay. They put all of us in nice hotel rooms with meals. Our hotel in Bahrain was amazing.
Cons: lack of initial update regarding the delay, we didn't know when we would get to final destination until we reached Bahrain. Aeroplane food wasn't great if you're veggie.

I obviously contacted them about reimbursement for the delay and it took its sweet sweet time but I received it. Once customer service replied they were really great.

I flew with Gulfair in February with my husband and 2 young children. The sky nanny that is a selling point is basically non existent! Other passengers were far more welcoming and loving towards my children than any of the crew were. We even asked if there was one on board half way through our return flight and the flight attendant replied 鈥榶es that鈥檚 me鈥?and at no point had she acknowledged any children on board the flight. Our child meals that were 100% ordered were not delivered and despite having evidence of this I have been told otherwise. The emails have gone on for months now with me providing solid evidence that there was an error on their part and I have got nowhere! No apology or even acknowledgement of the error. I received a rude and abrupt email yesterday telling me that this is an end to their correspondence and no accountability will be taken for their error! It鈥檚 a disgrace that they do not care in the least about their customers experience or that two 4 year olds went without their meal. I will never fly this airline again and I would not recommend it to anyone travelling with children who are impressed by the image of how they care for children on their flights, which is entirely false!

Worst customer service on planet. On phone they say one thing and email they tell you different story. They do not bother to always update you with further updates either. In one of the worst company i have ever dealt with.I suggest never ever to use this air line

Gulf Air cancelled my flight orignal date and allow me different date i force book another date then due to travel restriction i cancelled my flight 2 week before my travel date now waiting for my refund for more then 7 weeks.travel agent said they cant do anything.

Gulf air is not a nice airline!!!! The seats r not comfortable at all, u don鈥檛 have the leg room like other airline has, and the food very very very low quality!!!! I travelled with my sister from Heathrow to Dubai, usually I fly with emirates, but I thought v have a change n go with Gulf Airline, WHAT A VERY BIG BAD MISTAKE. NEVER AGAIN.

Was given two options of food chicken/fish. Got a tray with a little bowl of sweetcorn a bread roll and a tiny dessert
In flight entertainment didn't work they stated they would fix it but ignored me for the rest of the flight

Worst customer service ever!
Please don't fly this airline. I wanted to change my flight date but I couldn't get through any of thier customer service numbers, their website had no option to amend or cancel, thier UK numbers don't work, India numbers work in specific hours so you are forced to call Bahrain number. They cannot even modify reservation at the Bangalore airport.
I was forced to book another flight and lost money.

I am in Bangkok and found out that flights into Bahrain have been banned.

Did Gulf Air tell me this, of course not. I received a message from a friend. I called Bahrain as the Bangkok branch was closed and was advised an official statement would be released and for me to check. I asked if they would be helping customers get back by alternative routes. I was assured this would happen.

After waiting for some time and receiving no notification I called Bahrain again. I was told I had two choices stay in Bangkok for a month or get a refund. I asked if they could arrange for me to get to Dubai with a partner airline. They refused to do this.

I am now flying with another airline at considerable cost for a last minute flight.

Usually Gulf Air are OK but in this case they are truly awful. I've been travelling with them for twenty years. It's time to find a new airline.

I've visited your Abudhabi office and met an indian Agent was so helpful.
In her side there was an Arabian woman called Rana fighting with the keyboard in a very noisy way, when i looked at her she directly said to me "do you have any problem!!"
I told her yes you are annoying me, stop typing like that, she said its your problem & this is the way i like to type!! She was talking very rude and careless which makes me leave the office without booking.
Such individual behaviours make you lost your customer in a flash way, please make sure to pick a customer care agents who is suitable to make your customers happy to deal with you guys.
I'm truly disappointed & will not recommend you to any of my friends or family.

WORST COMPANY OF ALL! NOT ONLY THEY DONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR DELAYS BUT ALSO ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO RETURN THEIR TICKETS BECAUSE THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE CALLS, AND YOU CAN'T DO IT ON THE WEBSITE OR THERE APPLICATION !
DONT EVER FLY WITH GULFAIR!!!!

First time and last time… Dammam – Muscat. First fly with delay lost connection to Muscat what should be around 3 hours became almost 8…
Return back… lost connection again… what should be 3 hours became almost 7 hours… no weather issues only mismanagement.. don't recommend

Absolutely shocking. My flight from Riyadh to Bahrain was 3 hours late so by the time I got to Bahrain my connecting flight to London had departed.

No apologies, no explanation and rude staff at Bahrain.

Booked a flight to DXB from LHR (BAH transfer) on 2 Dec 19- 12 Dec. After reading a lot of negative feedback (9/10), I was already expecting the worst from them. However, from checking in at London without any problems up to the plane taking off and landing on time at Bahrain, everything went smoothly. From Bahrain, I had a 70mins layover to change plane and had to go to a queue for a security check which was surprisingly quick. Then reached Dubai from Bahrain very quickly (less than an hour flight). At Dubai airport, got my luggage back without any delays (Same as my return flight). The only downside I had was the delay on my return flight from Dubai to Bahrain (approx 30mins). Not a big deal as Ive had a 2 hours stop before my next flight anyway.
Now I think that flying with Gulf Air is like playing Russian Roulette but with 5 bullets in a chamber of a revolver and 1 empty one. I just got lucky that I pulled the trigger on that one (without the bullet on it). ?
PS. Not gonna risk it again next time and will be flying with other airlines better than this.

In 3 days I have spent FOUR hours on the phone waiting line for gulf air and still didn鈥檛 get through to a call agent.

See the flight is really good comfortable but there are some sick people in the check in ……:::who don鈥檛 know how to behave with customers …….. after all I am an architect who sees bigger people than this poor customer service staffs at the check in blabbering crap.

I was flying from london heathrow to chennai in april 2018 ,i booked the flight as it was very cheap, i don't mind the service ,all i need is a transport which can get me to my destination without any delay. Just a week before my departure from london ,they sent me an e-mail mentioning that my return flight was cancelled. They sent an provisional details of a flight for my return journey but it was booked a day in advance not on my exact departure date. They also mentioned they will send a confirmation of my flight later. I wasn't happy to fly like that ,so i called the agency i booked through to cancel my flight. They mentioned that it is not possible to cancel and it would cost to cancel my flight. But depsite calling them many times to confirm my flight, the response was they will confirm my flight later.

I waited for them to send me e-mail to confirm my flight,i sent like 4 e-mails to agency and gulf air ,but the reply was more like we have sent your complaint to relevant department and can await repsonse, i have to wait till the last day or less than 24-48 hrs into my flight for them to confirm my flight. I was more worried that i might not get back to london on time for my work to start. It was very stressful holiday for me . Gulf air had like 3 or 4 weeks to have my return flight sorted but it didn't pan out like that.

so i have to book a return flight for another extra 拢200, so lose of money,stress while holidaying these are the bonuses gulf air gave me for booking with their low cost airline.

Please do not ever book through gulf air , even if they give you flight tickets for less than half price.

very sorry to say, gulf air could be the better service and food is very poor quality. we are not flying with gulf air to have our meal perhaps there is some food been served to us which is very poorly done. recently I was flying BAH to Manila and Manila to Bahrain.to back in Bahrain I had fried rice with dorry fish, and dorry fish I think they used a frozen and no flavor at all. fish was over fried and rice has no season well.
It's just surprised me as Gulf air how could be possible. but if I talk about 2001 when I was fly to gulf air & food & service was really great.
we missed that – please, someone look into that ….

not allowing kids car … while taking ticket for kid what will be there in the kids baggage it must toys car only … how this car or toys will fit into 46X46X46 cartoon size … vary vary badly made rules …

Gulf Airline is found bad Airline , the baggage handlig staff are cheater and thief, removed lock of my suitcase and took my things laptop, camera, phones ,music center , GBP 1,000 cash , Rolex watch , jewellary , my expensive new cloth , I think it may be happened at Bahrain Airport , going to Dubai from London and coming back from Dubai to London ,changed flight both times at Bahrain Airport .
I reported my lost items at Dubai AIrport Luggage information, Gulf Airline office at second floor , Airport police at Ground floor and DCA Airport Duty Manager at Ground floor , they told me to report on line, All are not co-operative staff at Dubai Airport , nobody helped me. Gulf AIrline satff were bad at Dubai Airport with me and told me bad things at Dubai Airport and acted in uncivilised manner and staff moral was low. They took report from me but they did not give me copy of report. They acted like a cowboy , took all information from me but they did not give me report copy . I feel very bad about Gulf Airline staff.

I reported about my missing items to Gulf Airline staff at Heathrow and staff filled form wrong but I corrected the form but I did not have E ticket number due to Gulf Airline did not issue me E ticket , staff did not not registeed my full report . Opodo travel Agent did not send me E ticket , it is very serious mistakes made by OPODO travel agents .

I reported on line to Gulf Airline and sent recorded letter to Gulf Airline Office in Bahrain but till now there is no reply from Bahrain Office .

Now my wish is , death of Gulf Airlines , already in trouble and bad staff employed by Gulf Airline to handle luggage .
I request to King of Bahrain to investigate the crimes at Bahrain Airport by the baggage handling staff work in Gulf Airline . God must punish all Baggage handling staff who stoen my things from my suitcase both the time going from London to Dubai and coming back from Dubai to London. I suspect my things were stolen at Bahrain Airport when luggage was transfered from one flight to another flight.

I want to report to King of Bahrain and he should catch thief Luggage handling staff in Gulf Airline , they stolen my items from my suitcase by breaking lock of my suitcase going time and also coming back from Dubai , belt of my suitcase was removed and only left at handle and the lock was temoered at coming back from Dubai , took things which I bought from Dubai.

Gulf Airlins must reply my letter and on line report and also report to Gulf Airline staff at Dubai Airport and London Heathrow Airport and provide me full compensation of my all tems stolen. I am 73 years old sufferring due to Gulf Airline staff treated me very bad at both Airports Dubai and London Heathrow . I demand full investigation about corruption and stolen my items from suitcase by Gulf Airlines Staff.
You can publish my message in Gulf News so other people will know my problem with Gulf Airline.

It is justified to give 0 marks due to bad Airline and bad staff.
