My experience of Golfspin is a dark tale of deceit, pain & woe. The likes of which I'd rather not share. But I feel if the world is to become a better place then I must show courage and enlighten those who have yet to feel the misery of Golfspin.

Every good story has a villain. In this story his name is Neil. 'Neil The Deceiver' is a swindler who takes peoples money & promises them golf paradise. But all he can deliver is financial pain.

I ordered a 拢1400 Skytrak unit from his well presented website in February. I received the obligatory shipping emails. The world looked like a fine place to live in. I can vividly remember inhaling the crisp morning air and exhaling a foggy breath of joy as I patiently wait for my Skytrak unit to arrive. My imagination running wild in pure ecstasy as I picture my ball flight being displayed on my PC screen. Just a few short days after the delivery date had passed I am informed that the unit is stuck in customs. For 90 days, no less!

I managed to eventually speak to the treacherous wrongdoer on the telephone. Alarm bells should have rang sooner as his voice was a smooth as butter and his words encouraging to the core. Like a true villain! I put his deceptive skills right up there with the best of them. Hannibal Lector, John Doe, Senator Palpatine & The Lion king's Scar would have learned a few tricks from Neil.

Fortunately, after several more weeks of empty pain – in my darkest hour – a hero of supreme power comes to my aid – Natwest! Along with their trusty sidekick VISA.

I submit a "Dispute Transaction" claim to my bank. This is quite an easy claim to start off, just search your banks website. You provide your bank with some information and providing they think your case is suitable they will follow up the dispute. For me this involved giving me my money back within a couple of weeks & sending a request to Golfspin to either a) prove that I received the product or b) if Golfspin didn't send the product give the bank their 拢1400 back or c) Do nothing…in which case the bank will take 拢1400 for themselves after a period of 45 days.

Like all good stories this one has a happy ending. I have had my money back. And like all good stories there is a moral – check the reviews of a company before purchasing from them.

And never trust Neil The Deceiver from Golfspin. The End.

I paid over 拢1600 for a Skytrack launch monitor which never arrived. From subsequent email correspondence with Golfspin, I believe they knew at the time I ordered that they would not be able to deliver. This is fraud and theft. They accepted liability and offered to pay back 拢100 per week. I received 2 payments of 拢100 and 拢50 in April, now they won't reply to emails.
I'm hoping to bring criminal proceedings against them.

Ordered a Garmin GPS fenix watch more than 2 months ago. Received a faulty watch in a white non standard cardboard box. Sent the watch back and I'm still waiting for a new watch to be delivered. The Golfspin website states any faulty products would be replaced in 5 days. The customer service has been terrible. I haven't managed to speak with a member of staff yet. It's all done via email.

Ordered my Garmin G6 GPS 6th Jan 17 arrive 2nd Feb 17 (27 days later).
When it eventually arrived I found it rattling about in an old cardboard box (not the official Garmin G6 BOX) placed in a plastic bag with what looked like a kid writing on the address label.
When I opened the package I found my Garmin G6 was wrapped in bubble wrap, rest of items not wrapped.
On removal of Garmin I found it was all scratched on the back it certainly did not look new, called 5 times no reply.
Do yourself a favour and give this rouge company a miss as you never get a reply from them they just take your money, customer care means nothing after you have paid your money.

I ordered a Garmin rangefinder from them. After ordering, I was informed it would take approximately 15 working days to be despatched, and then a further 4 to 7 working days for delivery. I received e-mails advising it had been "despatched" 15 working days after placing the order, but without any tracking info ( which they promised ). 9 working days later and no Garmin, no response to phone or e-mail messages. I have given them 1 star because I couldn't write the review if I hadn't. I fear there is no Garmin and perhaps no possibility of a refund !! Please research this company properly !!!!

Endless promises of stock over a period of months. Never arrived. This seems to be a common theme. They take your money and "do their best" to source the item for the price you paid. You are then responsible for the chasing of the product and then the inevitable request for refund a few months later.

TO MAKE THIS SHORT AND HOW IT IS, I BOUGHT A GARMIN WATCH WHICH COST 拢240 IT NEVER ARRIVED. I MADE ENDLESS PHONE CALL WHICH NO ONE ANSWERED….ENDLESS EMAILS….ONLY HAD ONE BACK WHEN I TOLD THEM I WAS GOING TO REPORT THEM. THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD SEND AND GIVE ME A FREE HEART MONITOR WORTH 拢40, EVENTUALLY GOT THE WATCH WRAPPED IN SOME OLD PINK BUBBLE WRAP AND SOME RANDOM OLD BOX, NO GARMIN BOX NO INVOICE….GOD KNOWS WHERE THIS WATCH HAS COME FROM….OH, AND OF COURSE NO FREE HEART MONITOR. I REALLY WANT TO SEND HE BACK BUT I KNOW IF I DO I WILL NEVERB SEE THE WATCH OR MY MONEY AGAIN. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

I ordered a golf rangefinder from them and upon paying was informed of an 18 day despatch timeframe. Ok I thought – until it transpired they had no stock and took the payment in the knowledge they may be able source a discontinued product from 'a supplier'. I was fobbed off for 4 weeks, at which point I cancelled the order. Retrieving my money was equally as troublesome and it wasn't until I sent formal notification of a civil court proceeding did the money re-appear. These lot never answer the phone, fob you off, hang on to money, are completely unethical, and simply the worst online retailer I have ever encountered. Avoid Them.

Ordered Garmin Forerunner 920XT on 16th November, marked as dispatched 5th December, arrived 17th December.
I was emailed at each stage. Very slow process which left me feeling nervous having read Trustpilot reviews after ordering (I know, I should read them first).
The device arrived eventually, all complete but in a plain box, no fancy packaging. It was well packed and it is now registered with Garmin so must be genuine.
Can't beat the price, 拢70 cheaper then Wiggle.
In the end quite happy with the service.

Had a problem with my Unit, under guarantee sent it to golf spin on July 2015, all seemed good at the time, promised it would be fixed if not a replacement!! I'm still waiting!!! Got in contact with Neil… said my unit was in transit to somewhere, after emails I was promised a G8 as a replacement for my HT4… nothing has been done and no replies to my calls and email…I'm not sure where I stand now but will seek advice… Do not deal with this lot, 拢259 down the drain,
come on golfswindle get the finger out!!

Everything is all OK till you have a problem. Won't return calls or emails

Now having to start legal proceedings as have been left no choice

I must admit I'm somewhat confused by all the negative comments regarding this company. I can only comment on my own personal experience, which being frank was nothing but positive!! Throughout the whole sales process I was clearly communicated to and informed when I could expect to receive my goods (S6 Garmin watch) – the cheapest on the internet may I add (even cheaper than ebay!) I'd highly recommend this seller to anyone and urge all the people leaving negative comments to read (as I did) the seller terms and conditions.

Now been fed some cock and bull story about them removing my goods from (already been shipped) postal service because I wanted them fast.

This crowd are stupid, incompetent, greedy (held my money for weeks to bolster their bank profits) and not worth even talking to!

Do not waste your hard earned cash on this shower of incompetent cretins. I ordered and paid for (up front) a Garmin S6 golf watch. I got some ridiculous email right after then sale stating that as agreed to the item would take 10 days to get to them…???? Why???

Anyway, I waited the 10 days and having received absolutley no further communication from them was forced to send email to them to find out what was taking so long.
I did receive an email and it stated that the unit was being dispatched the day after and that I would receive a "shipped" email that same evening.

Guess what? No email! And still no email the day after that again. I have just sent a final email of intent to take this further and accept nothing less than a full refund, should the device not arrive with me on Monday coming.
If it fails to arrive I will be seeking a full refund and contacting Garmin to ensure nobody else gets duped by this company again.

DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO THESE GUYS OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!

Ordered G8 Garmin on 20 September and money taken from my account – now 25 October and still no sign of delivery – do NOT use this company – where the frig is this G8 being shipped from? Wish I had visited TrustPilot site before using this company. Raging! Hope I can get my money back via credit card.

Placed an order, then it was cancelled after I was told is was dispatched. Now have to wait 3-5 days to get the refund. In the meantime the price has gone up everywhere else.

I looked at these bad reviews just after I purchased which rather freaked me out. But this was my experience….. Placed the order (which was substantially cheaper than anywhere else) I was given a 6 – 12 working day dispatch then 3-5 working day delivery period. Day 11 email stating it was on its' way then on day 4 it arrived by Royal Mail Recorded delivery. Rang the store twice with queries and each time the owner answered all my questioins assuring me of delivery on time which it was. Brand new sealed in box…..just what they said!

Just ordered a G8 and when it arrived it was just in a wrapper, no box, no Garmin charger and basically looked like a reconditioned, 2nd hand unit.
When I complained they offered to send me another one. Having already waited 6 weeks, I wasn't prepared to wait and threatened to report them to Garmin at which point they agreed to refund me. DO NOT use this company.

I ordered a Garmin G7 GPS on 1st July it eventually arrived 29th July. I had to send 2 emails both replies said it was dispatched. If you want a product from them don't expect quick delivery. I know the price was good, but what a hastle.

After ordering Garmin G7 (great price) given delivery of 5-10 days which then turns into 5-10 days to them plus 2-4 day to me. Still waiting week after worst case 10day+4day. Been told by email (phoning is just a waste of time) should be couple more days!!

I had to give these people a 1star rating to be able to get on the site. The web site looks good, it states on there that they answer emails within 24 hours (wrong) it also says delivery first class post, but the product has to be dispatched first (which never happened with my golf watch) I've asked for my money back I wonder how long that will take. My advice is to keep away from this site

I ordered a Garmin watch after 5 weeks and countless emails no watch just fobbed off excuses, good job I paid by credit card so can get money back, do not use repeat do not use terrible company.

Initial views of this site show substantial savings on their products. I purchased a Garmin G8 device which had 25 percent savings. This is where the fun ends. It took 4 weeks for my device to eventually arrive this after contacting them 3 times. There is a phone number but this always went to an answer machine. I was contacted back quickly to my emails, however it was all empty promises, "it's been despatched" and there's been problems at the post depot". I was even promised compensation of拢30 worth of callaway golf balls. When these had still not turned up after 3 weeks I contacted them again and got another story about they had been sent out and they would resend by recorded delivery. After a week yes you,ve guessed it they still had not turned up. I asked them for details so,I could track the alleged package but they failed to answer. The parcel it seems was never sent. I would suggest not using these people unless you like being lied to. Use someone who values their customers.
