I'm not one for leaving reviews but in this case I think I have to. I received a 鈧?00 voucher as a gift for 'Golf anywhere' from this gift voucher shop in June, 2019. I'm an extremely keen golfer so the people that gave me the voucher had were very thoughtful when they bought it. As I was doing a Masters at the time and time was extremely tight, my fiance and I decided we'd use it to stay in a hotel (which I was advised I could do if they had a golf course attached) once I got my Masters finished in March 2020. Once I finished in March, Covid19 hit and for obvious reasons we were unable to book anywhere. We parked the thought as there was so much uncertainty out there but in May I emailed them to make sure my voucher would be ok to use once things 'returned to some normality'. I didn't get a reply from them. I didn't push it as at the time so many jobs were being lost and people's lives were at stake so our hotel stay was insignificant. I left it until late June to contact them again as golf clubs and some hotels were beginning to re-open after the lockdown and some normality was trying to return. Long story short, they waited until July 1st to tell me that my voucher expired in June! To say they have been unaccommodating is an understatement. I thought that as hotels and golf clubs were closed for almost 3 months that common sense and good will would prevail with this company but unfortunately it hasn't. Their argument is that 'The golf voucher shop remained open during the pandemic' and 'the option to redeem a voucher was always available through the pandemic'. How could we redeem it when there was nowhere to go with it?! No golf club to play in and no hotel to stay in! With the benefit of hindsight, my mistake was I didn't pursue them vigorously during lockdown when they ignored my enquiry mail in May. But, that's not the type of person I am! You can make up your own mind on this company but my advice is to stay very far away from them! It's a great idea and I was delighted to get such a gift but this company are sly and unhelpful.

After purchasing the voucher I realised that this might be a scam business as the redemption process was not as I expected for a legitimate company. I cancelled my order immediately and was I informed via email that my refund would be back in my account within 5 days. This did not appear and after numerous ignored emails I began a claim through my bank. My bank have refunded the full amount but please do not pay this scam business any of your hard earned money!!

Daylight robbery

SCAM DO NOT PURCHASE!! No voucher sent through and no reply to any of my emails asking when voucher will be sent (it's been 3 weeks). Went to the bank who kindly refunded the money and they have passed on to the fraud department to investigate.

I got one of these and couldn鈥檛 use it as I was sick. Jenny was very helpful, and I got to use it when I recovered. Thanks!

I have had no voucher sent to me and no way of speaking to anyone. I have tried emailing twice and no one replied. No phone number on website. I have had to get in touch with my bank to cancel transaction.

Top Class Golf Vouchers! All the negative reviews seem to be from people that let the voucher expire or a golf club 鈥渢hat has never heard of golf voucher shop鈥?Dahhh! Have you ever tried using an ASDA Voucher that expired? Good Luck with that. Golf Voucher Shop Vouchers are AMAZING!

I also work at a golf club who is on their list. At no point did we have any agreement with this company. This only came to light when a member of the public showed up at our club wanting to use his voucher. I have tried to contact them via email but no-one replies. There is no telephone number. Trading Standards is the next step me thinks.

DO NOT BUY ANY VOUCHERS FROM THIS FAKE COMPANY. It鈥檚 a scam and you will lose your money……….

This company has no agreement with the golf clubs listed so they will not accept any vouchers from them. DO NOT BUY VOUCHERS FROM THEM THEY ARE WORTHLESS

Ignore the 5 star reviews, they are all fake. The 1 star reviews are the ones to pay attention to! I work at one of the golf clubs listed on their site, not at any point was there an agreement to accept these " vouchers ", the same as probably every other golf club listed! Total sympathy for the customers who bring them in because they have been ripped off. This is a 100% scam and cannot believe whoever is behind it is still allowed to get away with it!

Received a voucher as a gift. Booked a round of golf as instructed and showed up at the course and they had no idea what I was talking about. Then I sat back watching an email altercation between the golf course and Voucher Shop. Didn't get to use the voucher in the end, and Voucher Shop staff seemed to think that was fine from their side. So definitely do not buy from them.

As a golfer I love these. Played Royal St. George. Turned up and the golf was paid for when i arrived. Very happy! More please !

Great shop best by a mile

I have used four of these and they are fantastic. I used two at St. Andrew's one at Kingsbarns and one at the Old Head in Ireland and it was a sterling voucher and got a great exchange rate. On all four occasions I used the surplus after paying for green fees in the golf shop and the bar.

Appalling Customer Service – I don't trust this company!!!!

Despite numerous emails to this company, I've yet to receive a single response.

I have a valid 拢75 voucher purchased by my children but have been unable to use it. Their website was down for a significant period during the summer and no Golf club i have contacted will accept their vouchers. I have asked for a refund but the silence is deafening
