Furthermore, to start walking, you have to kind of shove the track…no motor, so it relies on your force to get it going. It then goes but too fast all of a sudden. And that's the way it is the whole time…fast, slow, sudden fast, sticks, again sudden fast. Dangerous. If you don't hold on to the handle bars. you WILL FALL.
This is entirely inappropriate for any elderly person.
So the box was in shreds and I threw the remains away.
I called Gold Violin this morning and they said that the vendor would pick it up but it has to be in a box. She would send me a label, but the assembled thing is not OK. Has to be dissassembled and re boxed. I doubt that I will be able to find any way to box the thing up.
So basically I guess I'll just have to put it out by our apartment house dumpster.
Here's the thing though that you should know about Gold Violin.
Last night I put up a review of this thing…one star since they don't have zero stars. I noted that it is dangerous and included most of what I have written here.
The review is not online. I asked the customer service rep about that and she ignored my quesstion…I repeated it until she said I would have to email in with that.
So dishonest.
She said that many people had received this thing and they were all satisfied. I believe that cannot be true. Perhaps people simply didn't review it. At this time, there is one 5 star review..a woman says her grandson is happy with it.

The guy had something on my order that I had told him repeatedly that I didn't want. Shipped it anyway I was also suppose to get a 25 percent discount for my birthday. I did not get that . So although I repeatedly told this dude I didn't want something, I send it back and was still charged for shipping it back. It also was not even the right size. Did I say I AM DONE!???

ervisor, after waiting 7 1/2 minutes to get through. I was questioned endlessly by Carol about WHY I needed to talk to a Supervisor….I have a complaint about my order and don't want to explain it TWICE……she never connected me after questioning me so I ended the call telling her I would NEVER again order from Gold Violin again. This is no way to treat customers who pay to keep them in business, and especially elderly customers….this is CUSTOMER ABUSE!
