Car Lotz Richmond West End location at 8406 West Broat Street, Richmond, Va 23294, has by far given me the worst car buying experience I have ever encountered with a commercial used car company. I called a head to to set an appointment to test drive the vehicle I was interested in. I was then told someone else had already made an appointment to drive the same vehicle that day, and to just call ahead to ensure the vehicle was still available. That's exactly what I did, called to see is the vehicle still avaible before making the trip. Taylor (Or the only women working there) told me the
car was in the driveway waiting for me to come take it on a test drive . Yet when I arrived about 15 minutes later I was informed that sale papers for the same vehicle were already being finalized; what a waste of my time (had to be at work in the next coulpe of hours). I reluctantly decided to look at a few other vehicles, despite Charlie (the manager's) impolite and unprofessionial demeanor. The only people of the 5 employees who actually spoke to me like a person, made eye contact weren't condescending were Damon and Alex( to an extent). Overall CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PRACTICALLY NONEXISTENT AT THIS DEALEARSHIP. Charlie also brought me another car to test drive with the check engine light on then tried to sell me the car AS IS, when I asked about, it the car was sent of to the mechanic only to be fixed if I agreed to purchase, so in addition to lack of customer service they also have horrible business practices, got to a more trust used car deal like Carmax and not a used car consignment shop such as Carmax.
