I am very happy with this insurance to cover the excess of the usual hire car insurance. It is much better value than the equivalent offered by the hire car firms and covers all possible situations, including scratches, wind screens and wheels. I've used it now a few times in France and Germany, but luckily never had the need to claim against it (touch wood!). Last time, when I had to extend the car rental by a week, CarHireExcess also extended the policy with no problem at a reasonable cost.

This was easy to arrange, with clear choices provided on the website. This excess cover is much cheaper than using the car hire companies own cover. In many years of hiring cars abroad I have only once called upon the excess cover. Since that was for about 拢1000 , illustrating the value of taking excess cover.

It was easy to book. I had no need to call on your service, but it was reassuring to know it was there if required.

Every time I hire a car I buy insurance from these guys! It鈥檚 quick & easy to get a quote and order online and if you need their customer services, they answer emails & phones quickly, efficiently, politely and make the mods to your policy pronto!

Oh, did I mention the price .. 7 days insurance for the car from the car hire company would have cost nearly 5 times the price of these guys. Some saving.

I have used CarHireExcess before but didn't need to claim. However, taking out the extra insurance gave me peace of mind and enabled me to enjoy my holiday without over-worrying about the car. It is so simple to arrange the insurance online and is reasonably priced compared to the car hire company's quote.

I did not have to use the service but they answered my requests pretty fast. Which gives insight of a good service
