This guys are just thieves! We booked a car online for 10days in Mexico and made a deposit to secure the car. We pickup the car at Carflex at Cancun airport and signed-up for an upgrade. We agreed on the new price that was stated on the rental agreement. When we check-out we received the final invoice with the same amount as showed on the rental agreement and the guy at the counter confirmed we will be debited the total amount less the initial deposit using the credit card they had on file when we did the security deposit . After few days we noticed they have debited the full amount as if we did not pay a deposit. We reach out to Carflex support team who politely told us that they will not refund the deposit and the case was closed.
Interestingly in our email exchange with Carflex, they provided to me a copy of the credit card payment with a signature that is not mine.
