This is the WORST experience ever in renting a car. I agreed to a contact with CarFlexi because they said that Third Party coverage was included in the price. That was a complete lie. It cost me over $510 US more to rent a car for three weeks than was quoted by CarFlexi. I have been emailing some guy named Sergio and all I get is B. Shi. This company is a complete FRAUD. I will never use them again and if anyone has any sense they would never use this company for car rental services. I gave them a 1 because there was no zero or minus sign. Please don't get fooled like I did.

I was led to believe that the price would include all insurance, when I got to Budget they asked for an extra 35$ a day (more then the cost of the rent) for insurance, when I told them all insurance was paid they just kept with the same.
I ended wasting half a day of my trip to get another car and paying more.
When I asked for a refund for what they charged me they refuse.
Will press charges.
Do not rent from them!!

I had an issue with the car rental company and their availability, when I spoke with Carflexi about changing the booking they didn't advise me that I would need to pay their (carflexi's) full credit charge and excess waiver again if I amended my booking. I am extremely angry about this, as if I had been advised then I would have just booked through the car rental company rather than lose a significant amount of money. Don't bother using this service, will mislead you to get as much money as they can. It's not cheaper than booking directly with a car rent company at all.

Booked a car in a rush. And didn't check confirmation email – which had wrong pickup and drop off time. When we arrived to the rental company, they told us that the car is not available and offered us a more expensive one. The clerk said that we were supposed to give them a deposit 1100鈧?because there was no insurance. Carflexi charged me for an extra insurance… the clerk showed me that they received 20鈧?from car flexi – I paid 100鈧?and also told me that this happens all the time.
He said that I can get a car directly through them with full insurance without paying the deposit. So we did.
I asked car flexi for some refund they told me that is all my mistake…
Advice for everyone, book a car directly with car renting companies to avoid issues and false promises form $#*!s like carflexi

Initially I didnt hv confidence of Carsome selling my Jazz & TT. Their representative, Mr Tony Err display great professionalism. He did all the arrangement from A to Z, starting with the vehicle inspector.
Within 2 days after inspection, the 2 cars were sold at my target prices, without requiring me to leave the house.

Bad Experience
I rented and paid upfront online. When I arrived to my destination I discovered they gave me misleading/vague directions to where to where to pick up the car from. I spent a long time looking for the place, asking info and rental car companies to help me find it. I tried calling the 800 number many times with no luck then I had no choice but to rent another car from a different company. Upon my return to the US I contacted them regarding the issue, but did not hear from them back. When I called again they aid it was outside the dispute period and could not issue a refund. I tried with them different ways including accepting a credit towards my next rental, they refused. I travel very often and rent cars very often, but have never went through such a bad experience with other car rentals. My advice to all, there are many trusted options so do not get stock with this one.

I was led to believe that the price would be 79 EUR and I ended up paying 109 EUR because of an additional insurance, the price of which was mentioned only after the payment was processed.
It ended up beine a car from Hertz, so I could have reserved from there directly without the additional 40 EUR margin that CarFlexi makes. When I tried to contact them using the link in their e-mail, this is what happened (see screenshot).

I was led to believe the total price was 48 Euros for the car hire. After I paid I got a receipt for 144 Euros. Abd a further 48 E must be paid st the desk. I immediately cancelled. They said they wouldnt refund the full amount and would withhold 50 Euros. Furthermore they said the refund wouldnt appear on my statement for a week or two.

Few days ago, I booked a Mitsubishi ASX car through CarFlexi to travel around Tasmania, Australia for a week in December 2020 but I had to cancel my reservations due to personal reasons. They provided me with the cheapest prices for car rental and insurance cover for theft & damage excess reduction -I saw on the internet when I booked this car.
The physical car provider is East Coast Car Rental – a reputable brand in Australia with near new cars. I had hired East Coast's car in Australia a number of times in the past.
Carflexi took a refundable deposit from me during the booking.
I have made some queries before cancellation with CarFlexi's online team based in Greece. Except the time difference between Greece and Australia, they had been always prompt in their communications. They assured me that my booking would be cancelled free of cost and I would get my deposit fully refunded (as per terms of the booking).
Upon cancellation, I found that everything they had said was unquestionably correct. I had booked the car through my pay pal account so there was a delay in getting my refund deposited to my bank -which of course was quite reasonable.
I read some negative reviews against Carflexi but I have experienced everything above my satisfaction level.
I have not driven a car booked through CarFlexi yet. But my above experiences have made Carflexi trustworthy to me like any reputable online car rental companies. I shall happily book my next car through Carflexi, if the car I shall need will be available through their website at a competitive price.
I like to specially thank Ms. Helen F of CarFlexi's Greek Customer Service team for her humble and prompt response over emails to me always. She always made me feel comfortable with CarFlexi's booking and cancellation processes.
Happily recommending CarFlexI for booking your future cars.

Warning! For people interested to rent a car from Carflexi, do not make this mistake to rent from them! They grossly overcharge people despite what they promise on line and do not bother to correct their 鈥榤istakes' finding different reasons! Keep away! They work hand in hand with Europcar to swindle people! These are crooks!

I booked with them but fell ill so I wanted to cancel, this was not possible, all there numbers are listed as not working. So will probably get charged as a no show, is this a scam? When I go back to the site now apart from the voucher my booking does not show up.

CarFlexi is a absolute joke, booked a car with them to find out on the day of picking the car up that i had to pay a $2000 bond for insurance even tho I had already had car insurance. I was than told i would be out of pocket $80 for cancellation fee. I would recommend going with any other car company but them.

Whilst it was my fault for not taking out a daily rate to reduce the excess we unfortunately had damage to our hire car by person unknown in our accommodation in Hobart, Australia. As we had insurance with CarFlexi, which we have now been paid out, they were a pleasure to deal with. It has been a lesson learnt that in future I will always take out the daily rate to reduce the excess to Nil.

I rented a car with a franchise. Unfortunately the rental company (SIXT) challenged me about some scratches probably caused by a sidewalk. I had to pay SIXT (EUR 419,71) and then claim reimbursement from CARFLEXI.The procedure took about three months, however in the end I was refunded 334.75 Euro. My opinion is overall positive especially for the courtesy and kindness shown in solving the problem (A special thanks to Mrs Lena M).

The staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with, friendly and efficient.Explained everything carefully and when we had to return the car unexpectedly 3days later due to the Corona Virus outbreak, they were even more helpful. We will definitely recommend them and will reuse them when we resume our holiday after the Covid pandemic is over.
