i made a claim about 4 months ago. Then it took 2 months for the company to ask for all sort of documents which were then provided. Since then the disapeared. No comunication whatsoever. Think again before buying this cover

The service is really great. I use Carinsurerent for few years now, doing yearly car insurance. I had few interactions with them and always got quick answers and help. I also had an insurance case this year while travelling abroad and they solved it for me by negotiating with a rental company that returned my money back. Recommended indeed.

It took about 3 month for my claim settling: accident and report in mid-January (in Jordan), and full money refund in mid-April, 2020. But I was not in hurry, so I appreciate the business of CarInsuRent. Their London phone did not work, but they answered by e-mail. They transfer money to PayPal only, but it is stated in the Agreement, so I expected that.
So, happy end finally.

I wrote a refund request more than a month ago. February 19th, and today is April 6th! I sent them 5 letters reminding myself, but they ignore me! they asked me to write a review about myself, so now I'm writing it! do not mess if your money is dear to you!

The company replied that they paid. However, they mean a completely different case. Now all my claims they answer that they have already paid. Thus, by acquiring annual insurance you are entitled to only one reimbursement, I suppose.

I made a claim more than 5 weeks ago and haven't heard from them not even a reply saying they received the documents. I can never get through on the phone rather spend a bit more money and get a company that have normal customer service

The car rental company charged me with 500 EUR for 2 scratches on the car (I didn't make them, but this is another story). I've made a claim and got my money back in two months. The communication could be improved, you can wait for an answer for your email for a week or more.

Fortunately, I did not have a chance to test CarinsuRent on a claim case.
But in other cases when i needed their client support i got a clear and quick help.
The price for a one year excess insure was fair too.

In september I bought a year insurance. Unfortunately, I had some scratches on the rented car and paid for it 200 euros. I collected all the documents and sent them to insurentcar.
Carinsurent refund me all the expenses. But the service is not good. After you write them they could keep silence during a few weeks. I wrote them 3-4 letters before they respond. I started almost think that carinsurent would not refund me anything.
I tried to call on official phone numbers but it is impossible to reach them on the phone.
Claim application form on the website is not working. Sending documents is possible just in email. And this problem was noticed more than 1-2 years ago. Carinsurent didn't do anything with it.
You will also hardly find any email addresses on the official website. There is just one available email and you have to spend some time to find it on their website.
Conclusion. Carinsurent refunded me everything. But it takes almost 2 months and you have to press for it. The website is not working properly, support service may not answer during a few weeks. So as for me, I will not work with this company anymore and will not advise it to my friends.

I've purchased a yearly insurance. It gave me peace of mind for renting the car in my trip and hopefully once again soon.

Luckily I didn't have to file any claims so I can't review that.
