Bike owners have to deal with all possible problems, such as thieves or other criminals that just want to do as much harm to the bike owner as possible, stealing their bikes or destroying them. Road bikes are attractive to thieves, so there's no wonder why I've bought myself the best possible U-lock before I was at Din Cykel in Bor氓s to buy my road bike. However, only a U-lock like that one wasn't enough to prevent people from touching my bike at all, even though there are no signs of any attempts of theft. I'm always carefully choosing a safe parking spot for my road bike, like lamp-posts, sign posts and other safe spots like that. If people would only look at my bike and then pass right by, then I would be happy of that. But I've noticed that some people are crazy about touching vehicles that they don't own themselves.

So what should I do in order to prevent people from touching my bike at all? Only a U-lock is not enough as that might only prevent my bike from getting stolen, but it doesn't offer any damage protection. While U-locks and strong chains are the best things to get in order to prevent thefts, a bike alarm will not only improve protection against thefts, but it can also add up a criminal damage protection. It simply feels a vibration of the vehicle that it's installed on, and once a vibration gets hard enough, the alarm will start sounding. And Cargobike have sold two different bike alarms to me, and both of them work different. I bought the first one for two years ago, a model for only 249 Swedish crowns. That was waterproof, used only one alarm signal for 15 seconds before it automatically stopped sounding after it felt a vibration on any object. Not bad at all, but the next time I returned to Cargobike in order to buy another bike alarm for another bike that I've got, that one was a little more expensive, but definitely a better model. This one has got IP class 55, which means that it's not only waterproof, but it also offers an excellent protection against dust. Another way this more expensive alarm is better is the fact that its alarm signals reach up to 113 dB, which is 3 dB more than my old bike alarm could do, not to mention, the new bike alarm that I've got could sound for up to 30 seconds before it automatically stops sounding, unless my bike is being stolen and moving further from where I parked it, and it's got six different annoying alarm signals, which should increase chances of keeping criminals away from my bike.

Also, unlike the first time, when Cargobike used services of PostNord that take abnormally long time to deliver any undetectable parcels from Malm枚 to the rest of Sweden, this time DHL were responsible to deliver my new bike alarm to me as fast as possible. And DHL are way better than PostNord, because DHL always allowed me to track my parcels and delivered them within no more than one business day. So with that being said, Cargobike have made an improvement on their services, sending parcels with DHL instead of PostNord and therefore delivering parcels much faster. This way, while I was happy of getting the first bike alarm finally delivered by PostNord after a pretty long time, I'm even more happy when it comes to a faster delivery as Cargobike sent it to me via DHL.
