Holy crap. These people are the REAL DEAL. I bought a phone off eBay, received a device in pretty poor shape, the seller ghosted me as soon as I realized the phone was actually locked to T-Mobile US. I got scammed good. I tried 4 different unlocking services spanning about a month (as most take anywhere from one day to one week to gt you an unlocked code). But my phone didn't ask for an unlock code when inserting a SIM card from another carrier, and service after service (all of which I'd pay before they'd tell me they can't unlock my phone and gave me a full refund).

I won't be afraid to name names, I paid full price to "Codes2Unlock", "UnlockBase", "UnockUnit", "UnlockPlus"… The prices I paid ranged from $30US to $60US. I had to wait anywhere from 3 days to 10 days with these services to receive an email saying "We're sorry, we could't find an unlock code for your phone". Eventually one (UnlockUnit) telling me that my phone had been blacklisted by T-Mo for lack of payment. At which point, I'm not shocked. And another service told me they could do it for $150us. Now, all of these services were nice to me and they all gave me a full refund, but losing around a week on each and getting bad news deliered, I had lost hope and was about to give the phone to a Trade-In program for less than half of what I paid for it. But then I found these people.

Before I even made a purchase, I talked via the chat with a representative, Amaru, he sent me a link to download their remote software and guided me, patiently, through what I had to do to let them inspect the phone remotely. After about 5 minutes he tells me they absolutely can unlock my phone; I went ahead and paid, and my phone was unlocked within another 5 minutes. I almost cried in joy.

He then proceeded to help me remove the T-Mobile branding so my phone will be running on the pure Samsung Unlocked firmware. I couldn't have asked for more or a better service. Amaru was absolutely wonderful and I can't put into words how much I appreciate what he and his company did for me. I created an account with this service so I can come back to them next time I purchase a phone that I need help with. There may be cheaper options out there, but I gave a few of them a good, solid chance. No one was able to deliver at all, and these guys did it in a matter of minutes. Thank you!

Would've gave 5ive stars but the process was so long I needed more interaction between, perhaps someone saying "Just wait a bit longer" or Please hold while the process is occurring Otherwise great experience..

Excellent service, really pleased some bell end sold me a phone then reported it stolen, if it wasnt for these guys I'd be stuck with a brick.
I cant recommend them any more, technician was patient and explained the process every step of the way.
Get that man a beer he deserves it!!!

The worst service I have ever experienced. I had a galaxy core prime and needed a Samsung account unlock. The tech had me linked for almost 2 hours. Every time I asked how it was going , or if he was going to be able to finish it, he took a very long time to respond. At first he said he couldn't find the files. Finally booted my phone into download , flashed one file and then took another 40 minutes for the second file. After flashing the second file, he .restarted my phone and it was stuck in bootloop, at which time he got very defensive and claimed there was no way the phone was bootlooping, basically calling me a liar. Although they did refund my money, 3days later, I have attempted to contact them several times to find out what they were going to do to repair, replace my phone, and no response from them. It's been 5 days now. I work on phones, and I know when a phone is bricked. My phone is bricked. It will never turn on again so I'm out of a phone. I would of given 5 negative stars if it was possible. This company is made up of uneducated, irresponsible employees. I have NEVER been offered compensation from them.

I am very happy with the SERVICE GSM Gurus provided. Top notch and 5 stars all the way.

I rated my overall experience 4 stars because I found myself asking what was going on after long waits.

The overall experience would have been rated 5 stars if the GSM Guru rep communicated a little more proactively.
