Golf18 Network

I have the same bad experience as others who tried to book an advertised tee time for the Omni Tucson National Golf Course only to find out that the tee time is no longer available, but they have already charged your card their booking fee. If I go back to the advertised tee times, the available tee time has moved to a later time. I tried booking the later time but after they charged my card for the second time, that tee time is no longer available either. I called their Customer Service and his excuse was that the website has problems and they will refund the charges to my card. No refund received after 3 weeks. Golf18 Network does not even merit a one star. They are scammers.

post bogus available tee times, when you check out they give you an error and say no longer available. You try again and get the same error, but at the same time they are putting an authorization charge on your card every time you try. Will not be using anymore.

I can usually find a tee-time at a good course at a reasonable price.

I can't believe that they're still in business with their policies and service. If I could give a zero, I would.
I booked a tee time last Sept and had to cancel due to a conflict. I called the course, they canceled my time (I did not call Golf18, was not aware that I had to go that route as I went through the course originally). I was then informed that I could not get a refund because they could not prove that I had canceled within 48 hours. Actually I didn't know that was a policy but got lucky that it was within the window. I got the pro shop in a conf call with Golf18 (because they refused to believe me) and they said that the girl that took my cancellation was working the day I called, all within the 48 hour range. They refused to refund, stil said they could not validate and I was forced to take a credit anyway.
When I went to use my credit, the site would only apply it to fees (7-8$), that I could only use my $180.00 on special tee times, which don't appear to be available. They said to look for a blue 'C', which I have also found out only appear after multiple course bookings and only once at that. Who does business like this??? They force you to take a credit then don't allow you to apply it!! It's my money. Stay far away, there are other credible sites available, this one is a scam.

I booked a t-time with Golf 18 to one of my favorite courses. Upon arrival I was informed that the course did not accept Golf 18's reservation and had been told not to accept anything from them. This is 6 courses owned by Salt Lake City. I then had to pay the regular price and luckily there was a time available within minutes of my so called reserved t-time. I called Golf 18 but the number gave me no options to talk with anyone so I e-mailed them through their website and did receive a full refund within 24 hours. However, if you think about using Golf 18 I would call the golf course in question and ask whether they accept Golf 18's reservations.

I switched to Golf18network to pay lower fees than Golfnow.com, not knowing that after enough reservations last year, my fees would go to zero this year. And beyond that, after another 2 reservations we will get a cash bonus. But the most amazing thing was having customer service from real people who helped me when I made a mistake. I did not see the date jump from the weekend day I was searching to the date of my search and accidentally reserved and paid for the wrong day & time. Customer Service worked with the golf course to get me back a credit to use on the day I actually wanted. I was amazed to learn that 'real' and very nice people are there to help if needed. Amazing!

I have logged on Golf 18 Network and Golf Now websites many times; and, every single time, Golf Now has had better deals, so I don't even bother to go on Golf 18 Network's website anymore.

One good round at a good rate. Second good round at not as good a rate. Thought it was until I showed up at the course to find out it was cheaper at the pro shop.

Golf18 sometimes offer "savings " which you expect to be against the cost of a round of golf. However these are usually only offset against their booking fees rather than the golf itself. I purchased $500 worth of golf18 vouchers for $300. A great deal I thought until I discovered I could only save $4 or $5 per round booked and even then the same rounds were often cheaper on other sites anyway. An attempt to reclaim my money once I had realised it was not what I had expected was met with a blank refusal. I acknowledge that there are some rounds that I could have offset the total cost using the vouchers but there is no way of identifying them up front. I would also query why golf18 is offering rounds of golf at times that are well after dark and therefore unplayable (Royal St.Cloud)

1) not user-friendly: it's listed per golf courses instead of time of the day, so if you want to play early in the morning, you have to go through all of them even if there's only a few tee times available at the time you wanted.
2) not reliable: several times, you see a big discount in green but when you click on it there's no tee time available at that rate. Not good feeling at all.

Convince of finding a tee time at any course is good but the booking fees and taxes always seem to make the price higher than just going course. The hidden fees really add up.On other sites rewards are better when using them.

Booking works well but had one on-line booking missed. Don't know if it was a course or Golf 18 Network problem. Otherwise been good.

We visited near Orlando to get out of the cold and used Golf18 Network to book most of our tee times. I thought the email was easy to use and see who had tee times when we wanted them. The prices were competitive. We didn't feel like we were taken advantage of. There were 2 times the courses didn't have our reservations but they managed to honor the tee times when we showed them our confirmation on the my phone. Using this was an overall good experience.

I made a prepaid tee-time on February 27 2golfers for $33 @ Countryway Golf Course, upon arrival the person (Ron) in the club house said he had no record of this and we would have to pay $44/2 if we wanted to golf. Thinking I could straighten this out later I paid again for what turned out to be the worst golf experience ever (course overbooked, no starter, left disgusted after it took 3 hours to play 9 holes). Golf 18 was contacted, I told them the problem, was told they would take care of it, and I would receive a call when it was resolved. Nothing happened.

I was very disappointed. The courses are overbooked resulting in at least a 10 minute wait each hole. This is no way to golf.
